I can see the misrepresentation of this video. Obviously the video maker doesn't understand the difference between large government and small government. It's understandable that the ignorace is there, since we were all taught that there is only left and right in politics. But remember Hitler wanted a large, strong government. Paul speaks for small, limited government.
You can't have a gov't oppressed society when gov't is too small to oppress.

@TheHomelandDefender I know not of this "her" or the story of which she tells... but of history I know a great deal.
What you seem to miss is the style of governance in Europe and Asia and most of the world, in fact, was and is a big government style. From this you get Communism on the Left and Facism on the right. The US created a new idea, that the individual is granted liberty and rights and government is to serve the poeple. Thus what was once called liberal, now called libertarian.

@TheHomelandDefender Okay, but you still seem to miss the point. Libertariamism isn't pro-terrorist. Look at one of the more famous liberal/libertarian presidents T.Jefferson of the Democratic-Republican Party. He fought the Barbary Pirates, muslim terrorists, in 1801. So, if you really want to call him "fascist pro-terrorist", you know little about history.

@bsabruzzo Thomas Jefferson and George Washington were the original terrorists. Ever heard of the boston tea party or their war against the government. Also they owned slaves and had a pre-911 mindset. Not exactly role models there.

@TheHomelandDefender They also wrote the US constitution so that it would force the slave issue and collapse the slavery industry. The freed their slaves and taught them to read (which was punishable by death).
As for your Terrorist comment... are you saying that G.Washington and T.Jefferson should have been treated as traitors? Because they were? Are you saying you don't like what they stood for, the right to say what you want? Hmm, interesting contradiction.

Pre-9/11 mind-set is the period from 1968-2001.

@TheHomelandDefender And you must also remember that both T.Jefferson and G.Washington never actually commited terrorist acts. The were a part of a declared government, a declared war and ran actual armies with uniform soldiers only fighting actual enemy soldiers
Terrorists don't set-up nations then declare war and fight as an army, they randomly kill innocent people with no nation to stand behind them.

@TheHomelandDefender Last comment. IQ means possible intelligence not actual ability to use it. 90 is actually a C- in IQ standards (just below average) and even if you had an A (120+) you still show a poor understanding of the material and really poor debating skills.
