  • is it more difficult if you don't reverse your fader??

  • @xximmortal1xx no just different!

  • @studioscratches Shorty...props for the vid, but post a tutorial for those that don't scratch hamster

  • @LinxAudio c'mon, i scratch regular and had absolutely no minimal problem understanding it.

  • Where do I order such a scratch record with all the stabs and samples?

  • @feixar i make digital scratch records. Check the main studio scratches site for details.

  • @feixar check the video description

  • @feixar or superseal

  • Hey short e do u hav ur turntables switched around bcoz when u use ur fader it seems like u do, plz reply

  • @Trentumphdabox I have the crossfader reverse / hamser style. Its like cutting on the up faders. My mixer has a switch to achieve this. Instead of cutting the fader towards the record, i push it away.

  • El único movimiento imposible para mi es este, y encima de todo el que mas me gusta..pufff, no hay manera

  • @eckoo9999 seguir practicando!

  • I can do the 1! 2! 3! But on the stab, i keep trying to pull the record back:-/ very frustrating! But will work on it!

    Great vids

  • @colinsparks1970 keep practicing it took me a while!

  • How long do you have to practice till you're able to do the scratch at that speed?

  • @Maftiosi honestly, I have been scratching for 11 years now, but the boomerang is a new scratch for me. A couple of weeks / months, depending on how much you practice. it took me a little while but I am not a particularly quick scratch learner! I take me time and practice slow and speed up gradually. I need to understand the scratch first. Hope that helps - Short-E ;)

  • Do you normally turn down the bass on the sample when scratching?

  • @chavezm300 yes thats right.

  • I take it this is a fairly recently invented scratch? Thanks

  • @maccagrabme hello. I'm not sure! more recent than say, the transform!

  • @studioscratches I remember learning the transform back in 1986 when djs were scratching(!) their heads as to how it was achieved. I worked it out myself by trial and error but gave up the decks in 1990 after I thought that the transform was the pinnacle of scratches and I was getting bored with it all! I'm having a bit of fun with it all again as there seem to be quite a few new techniques and it is as addictive as ever! I think the boomberang scratch is possibly around 2000-2007 maybe.

  • @maccagrabme good stuff, yes theres loads you can do. You could check out all the other tutorials i have created.

  • THANKS FOR SHARE INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED SCRATCH TECHNICS. ARE VERY HELFULL FOR ME. :D

  • Excellent tutorial. Congrats!

  • Got it dowwwn :)

  • SUPER :)

  • IMO you got the best tut's out there on youtube :)

  • Thank you for this. Gonna try this tomorrow :) Which super seal are you using? Thinking of getting a new scratch record, But I'm not that quick or good yet so I need one with at least some pause between the samples. The one I'm using now almost starts again instantly when it made its orbit around the needle.

  • @CozyStick no worries. i made my own digital scratch record. links are in the full video description.

  • i wish i had the money for a set up like this :D

  • first! cool!
