I was eight when I first saw this movie, and even then I tried to hold my breath with Chihiro as she crossed the bridge. Even at that young age, when I didn't understand who Miyazaki was or that it was even Japanese, I still fell in love with the film and all it told through its story. As much as I would love to see that promise between Haku and Chihiro made at the end fulfilled, it would ruin the magic that this film is. I'm just lucky that I get to live in a time of Miyazaki films.

disney and pixar both suck, and i grew up watching their movies. i wish i had grown up on Ghibli movies, theyre infinietly better. in my opinion, translating these films without cutting the stories up at all is on of the very few things theyve done

I dont think they should make a spirited away 2. it would kind of ruin the whole "dont look back" thing. It's a once in a lifetime thing for sen and it should be applied to the audience as well.

Spirited Away is an AMAZING movie. Even before I saw the making of this movie just now, when I was watching it, I knew there was something special about it. One of the producer dudes described it as putting extra little details in the movie that normal directors would gloss over. I noticed that immediately - subconciously - that he did that. WOW.

god please please make a spirited away 2 TT^TT i saw the movie when i was very little(when i didnt care much for movies and i slept through them at that time) this movie had captured my heart...to this day(im 14 now) i always have the urge to watch that movie and just have that wonderful feeling...No other movie in the WORLD has given me that feeling. @retafmil I read it and it's AMAZING!!! chihiro is all grown up.. :) and I really love the part where haku is finding chihiro (he was so worried that time) and their date and the ending part chihiro and haku where..... ya'know...... hehehe I REALLY LOVE IT!!!!! :D

I remember years ago... years ago... I can't remember even what age I was. I went to my grandmothers and I can't remember anything of the stay other than finding this film in a DVD rental, and being stunned by it. A few years later, I saw it again, and so many memories of it flooded back. I, like many others, grew up watching Spirited away. Mr. Miyazaki must feel so proud knowing his creation has grown up with thousands of children!
