Greer Garson was a relative of mine, Garsons came from scottland, if you ever notice in some of her movies she wears a kilt because she was scottish, Garsons Moved To The states and became the coker family, the coker family also has alot of history in mississippi, I am very proud to say this beautiful woman was my great aunt. I am very pleased to hear all of you appreciated her :)

I am 37 years old. I watched her movies as a very young child. She is my favorite and will always be. I named my cat " Mrs. Miniver" because she was a lady! I wanted to name my daughter Greer Garson.....my husband would have none of that. Your Great Aunt will be remembered for generations......I wish I could have met her....and Ronald Coleman....my (2) favorite actors of all time.

What a lovely tribute to a beautiful lady. Thank you. What sets Greer Garson apart from most hollywood actresses is that her beauty was natural. Even when she was interviewed by Barry Norman in a series he did in the eighties by which time she herself was over 80 she retained the same unmistakable looks that she had in her prime. She was truly beautiful and a fine actress. In my opinion she was never better than in "Random Harvest" which remains one of my favourite films of all time.
