i love father Pfleger. Its sort of like the story of the good samaritan. The Rabii s leave the man to die cos they need to be in the house of God. Pfleger is the practical one who stops and helps. He see the practical part of the whole thing. You can tout being religious but if you don't love your neighbour as yourself, if you are unable to love your enemies and forgive them when they wrong you, if you lack compassion, you are no more than the devil. Claims of religion only becomes platitude.

He's all about his worldly views and politics and not about Jesus and the way to heaven. If he thinks he's fighting for justice then why doesn't he defend the unborn? He supports Barack Obama who supports infanticide and abortion. So if he's all about living a Christian life than why does he support the slaughtering of the innocent like Herod? Why is Dr. Pfleger silent about the right to life for the unborn? He is a heretic and a schismatic leading many astray.

@CubsBears1984 if u have been to St Sabina, you would see that he talks a lot about Jesus. What he does is teach people the essence of repentance and urges people to make their choices out of love and compassion. If you love Children, you won't abort. If you love your neighbour, you won't hurt him but help. If you love God, you will obey his word.

This loud voice of anti abortion is just a platitude by the warmongering prosperity pastors who never teach what real religion is about.

I'm not a warmonger. I'm defending the sanctity of human life and the right to defend life for every unborn baby. Every human life should be respected with dignity. Life is priceless. The Church is against birth control and abortion. Plfeger is breaking the rules. I'll pray for him that he wakes up. Politics aren't worth twisting the faith.

@CubsBears1984 Like he said, he is not looking to be a leader, he is looking to train a bunch of leaders. Instead of substance, we follow reputation. No where has this man encouraged abortion in any of his speeches or Sermons. If he has invited Al Sharpton (a pro-choice) to his pulpit doesn't mean he approves of everything Sharpton believes.

I listened to this message and he is right. All I have to do is watch CBN and I see Pastor Hagee advocating war. Pfleger is not perfect but much better

Do you know him? If you do tell him to put the Tabernacle front and center behind the alter in his Church. Also as a Priest he shouldn't attack the Pope and the Church in his sermon. That is a bit heretical to attack the pope during Mass. He shouldn't instigate disharmony and schism in the church. There must be unity in the Church. Also he should stick to the liturgical prayer during Eucharistic consecration. I'll pray for him that he follows The Way and not his own way. One True Faith in Jesus

People forget Christ was outspoken for the oppressed, exploited and outcasted. He wasn't wrapped up with rituals and traditions. He was more concerned with combating the illnesses of society at the ground level.

Mass is the Holy Sacrifice of Christ on the Cross. Not a gathering of singing, giving a talk, and whatever this priest says it is. It is the most sacred, most intimate, and most holy moment that man can see. It is when the heart of Christ literally descends down from heaven and enters into our souls.

The church is part of the problem because heretics like this priest are still allowed to publicly celebrate mass. If he were excommunicated and the Church authorities were loyal to the Magisterium, all would be fine.

This is a catholic Priest in Chicago. He is not a member of the society of jesus. And what he says is definitely true. He is a inspiration and more priests in the catholic church should follow his example. He changed the St. Sabina neighborhood from a slum to a flurishing community. I am very proud to say that I have met father Pfleger personally. And I am not even catholic.
