  • I miss the announcer setting the scene at the beginning, like this: "Well, sir, it's mid-afternoon as we look in at the small house halfway up at the next block. And here we find Mr. Victor Gook and his son Rush in the living room, while Sade is busy with the family wash. Rush is having Vic coach him on his latest elocution test for school. Listen....".

  • @fromthesidelines I agree, that would have been a great way to begin the film, especially for fans of the original radio show. Though getting someone who could do the announcer's voice just right might have been a bit difficult.

  • I've been a Vic & Sadist for many years. You really did them justice. I really enjoyed this. Thanks so much for posting.

  • Just found this clip - I have at least 200 Vic & Sade radio programs on CD and I play a couple of them most days along with other programs like Fibber mcGee & Molly, the Great Gildersleeve - I knew some of the shows made it to TV so if anyone has a copy ot those show would appreciate it if you could post the V&S show.

  • this is brilliant !!!! very well done, and obviously done by someone who deeply appreciates the work of Paul Rhymer! a thousand thanks for posting this for all to enjoy.

  • Wow! The living room is just like I imagined it. Great job!
