those who have read the book shouldn't compare it with the movie. u can't cramp about hundreds of pages in two hours. and for me, the characters are as accurate as it can get..although katnis is 16,she supposed to look older.that is what life of hardships make you.

The Hunger Games is a book about survival, sacrifice, and freedom. You really get to know the characters in the book and feel this connection between you and the characters. This book has nothing, and I mean NOTHING to do with Twilight. So don't even think about comparing the two. It really ruins it for the rest of us who really wants to see it. The "team Peeta" and "team Gale" have really nothing to do with the story. Don't even try or I will personally call in the peacekeepers to deal with you

It's about how corrupt and controlling a government can be, and it also mimics how society is so absorbed in reality t.v., but how it's barbaric it truly is. People watch Jersey Shore to watch Snooki hit some random girl, or some drama to stir up. Could there be a time that we watch people kill each other? It's already happening. Example? stoning a woman.
