What happens if you buy a handgun online and use an FFL for transfer and background check, and the background check is denied? Is your money refunded? How does this work if the seller claims no refunds?
@soultapper69ranger Thats a dealer by dealer choice, we would give the money back probably. However if someone knows there would be problems with a background check, we recomend having one done at a shop prior to buying a firearm.
Just out of curiosity, but can a non US citizen legally purchase a firearm and shoot it at a range? Let's say (in from Europe) I went to Florida on holiday and wanted to purchase a gun for the time I am there, is this allowed? I never had any problems with the law (not even a speeding ticket) but I wonder if the FBI or ATF can access personal data from other countries. Thanks in advance.
@greedkiller Hey there you have to be a Florida Resident in our shop and US Citizen to purchase a firearm. The 4473 must be filled and and approved. So you would not be able to purchase a gun while on holiday bud, I am sorry...

@teddycanary According to KAHR its a better grip fitting system, and you have the additional mag capacity. It does feel nice with the PM9, and PM40. They are outstanding firearms, the company does a great job with the P380, PM9, PM40, PM45.

For the state of FL, I HIGHLY recommend the "Florida Firearms:Use and Ownership" book as well. Also everyone should know that the shop has the right to refuse on their own if you seem shady (it's their livelihood). My favorites are the folks that walk in and ask "How many people can I kill with this gun?"...and get the answer "None/ Get the F out of my store" LOL. Great vid!

I received a nonapproval because of my name, had to wait five months for the FDLE to finally get approved. I suggest anyone that experiences delays to purchase a firearm to go fill out a "voluntary appeals" form which you can download or have mailed to you at the FBI's "National Instant Criminal Background Check" website so you can get that UPIN. It's going to save you a lot of time.
Great video, its a subject that is often overlooked. On the whole social security number, I agree with you. I am a Jr. and when I first filled out the form to get my first gun, it actually came back as my dad and not me. Very interesting. Here in Ohio, even if you dont have a CCW, if your background is clean you leave the same day with the firearm.
Interesting how different states work. I have a unique name, so I never get delayed lol. It takes me about 10min to buy a guy in Ohio.
