@innoutpandaexpress gt5 no customisation, most the cars look like they were built for a ps1 game, no rewind feature and oh yeah when damage is unlocked it's stuck on you can't turn it off so yeah gt5 sucks. forza is better because it fixes all those problems, however night racing and weather isn't simulated so it's a mixed bag but dude car football is better than anything gt5 has thats my take on it anyway. also If you want to discuss this at length mesage me.

That is such a pathetic excuse, how old are you? Customization? GT was always about keeping the cars pure, not some "cool" custom crap. this isn't Need For Speed. 1.I spent over 70 hours on the game since launch I hardly would call that casual
2. car football is an online minigame it's the best part because it's mental
3. customization is better than none, gt5 you get the same bland boring cars in everyother game.

@nightmareofkaitos They could release a customization update if they wanted to but the GT series never needed customization and look how successful it is.the people who complain about customization are a minority.If Polyphony worked on GT5 only the past 6 years then I would be on your side about them releasing the game unfinished.But they had about 4 other projects they were working on,they had to put GT5 aside from time to time.So it's understandable.I guess you're not one with much patience..

@innoutpandaexpress sorry scratch that about skyrim fable 3 was so flawed at launch if they had 3 more years dev time it could have been a better game than skyrim but no as it is it's a good adventure game but way too short and the worst rpg ever. same with GT5 it prommised big things much like fable 3 and sucks because it delever 1/4 of what was promised and becuse of how disapointing the game is. I have hight hopes for GT6 as they can do better GT3 is evidence of that.

If you played the game today, it's not the same game everyone saw when it was released. They have changed an improved many things.GT5 has the most realistic driving physics out there. That is widely agreed. So it can't be "a poor excuse for a racing simulator". You're only going by features not actual gameplay.

@innoutpandaexpress my point is GT3 was finished at launch that didn't need an update, forza 3 was finnished at launch, forza 4 was finnished at launch. so why wasn't GT5 released with a patch polyphony digital had 6 years to make gt5 and if the game isn't right at launch it needs to be recalled. in the ps2 era polyphony digital started to slip and they stil are a lot of the cars still don't have interior veiws even with the update all some 519 cars in forza 4 have that.
