Hmm... I like it, but... why? Who is supposed to watch this video? What are they supposed to get out of it? And why is it 7 minutes long, instead of 6 minutes, or 4 minutes, or 2 minutes...?
The video was made for the American Association of Museums' annual conference, which was held in Philadelphia this past year. It would have been played at some of the conference events, and exceprts could later be used in promotional ads for Philadelphia tourism.
This had me in tears! I am an art museum educator who has been looking for work for over a year now. I need to watch this every time I apply for jobs. Thank you for this film!
Enjoyed it, but I was ready for it to be over after 3 or 4 minutes. And everyone was sooo well dressed. I did not identify with that.

I enjoyed the video although I was surprised that the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology was not mentioned.

I love this! She said, "it feels like an old friend".....I can relate. Every museum I visit it feels like home. Museums are magical to me.
