I am not only African American but born in a State known for Spiritual, Gospel, and Blues, Mississippi.  This girl can naturally sing. She was not given a chance at all!! She DID NOT sing it like Whitney, for she sang it like Patricia! When she sang the Spanish song, it was weak. This is because she was caught off guard by the judges' reactions. They know what they want and break the hearts of REAL SINGERS. The boy they chose from PR could not equal to the talent of Patricia, never!!

Oh yes I definately agree with this comment....and they didnt put her through to hollywood either. Why did they give this girl such a hard time??? Her voice is beautiful, she has "spanish soul" in her voice. I dont get American Idol anymore thats why I dont take it as serious as I use to...because people who can REALLY sing their asses off are not being treated fairly.
