When it was revealed that Elektra was a skrull imposter, I thought "Oh, the skrulls were behind everything thats happened". It would've been alot more interesting if the Skrulls were secretly funding Von Bardas w/technology so she could attack America. That they got into Wanda's mind and made her attack her friends and erase the X-Gene. That they orcastrated the Stamford Disaster and the Civil War. I was tricked into believing some Master Plan was underway, but there wasn't! Just coincidences!

It was dumb-luck that Lucia Von Bardas survived Castle Doom collapsing and returned to attack the heroes. It was dumb-luck that the Scarlet Witch went nuts and attacked the Avengers and then, months later, gets rid of most of Earths Mutants. It was dumb-luck that Stamford gets blown-up and leads to the Cival War & the SHRA, enabling the Skrulls to better infiltrate the super hero community through the Inititive. The Skrulls didn't have to do anything because the superheroes are fuck-ups! Huh?

Hey, Guys. I don't think I ever made this point about Secret Invasion, but did you notice that all the major events that Joe Q & Bendis said that "Led up" to the Skrull Invasion, had NOTHING to do with the Skrulls. The Secret War, Avengers Disassembled, House of M, the Civil War, everything that gave the Skrulls an advantage to attack the Earth was not subterfuge caused by careful Skrull planning, but just pure dumb-luck!
