TEST: M-Audio BX8 d2 Aktiver Studio Monitor

I owned these monitors for 3 days. I played them twice at a low/normal volume and one of the tweeters simply stopped working. After I sent them back, they were checked for defects and it was found the tweeter was made defective. It should have been caught by quality control, but wasn't. Needless to say, I didn't get a second pair. I will never buy M-Audio stuff again.

Welcher ist eig besser der bxa8 deluxe oder der hier gezeigte d2 ?

und welche unterschiede gibt es bei den beiden ?

You should make another version in english. I just bought a pair of BX5 D2s and I am slightly worried about them because of how poor the previous models have been made. I hope these new models don't have the same issues as the old ones.

@xXtortionXx if you look into it the build inside not just exterior is completely different in quality you should be find i got the bx8 d2's i love them can't complain

@1ROSETV It's too late now. x.X I took them back and got KRK RP6s. They sound alot better and feel/look better

Wollt ch mir auch erst zulegen.

Dennoch habe ich mich für die Mackie MR8 entschieden.

Die Mackies sind echt genial im Sound...der Bass ist sehr voluminös und wenn ich die 40hz fader an meinem dbx eq anhebe brauch ich keinen aktiv-sub mehr.

Lautstärke 116db spricht für sich.

Und sie haben einen hi und low schalter.

cinch ist definitiv kein standard im pro-bereich! es fehlen aber leider EQ-Schalter, um die Monitore an den Raum anzupassen. Auch Bassentlüftung hinten ist Mist :-(

@HELLSPAWN1973 Was die Cinch-Eingänge angeht, hast du natürlich vollkommen Recht. Im Pro-Audio-Bereich ist Klinke und XLR der Standard. Viele Käufer der Zielgruppe haben aber dennoch kleine Mixer, Monitor-Controller etc. pp. die leider nur Cinch-Ausgänge besitzen. Damit müssen wieder lästige Adapter her und die Signalqualität leidet (oft). EQ-Schalter im High, Mid und Bass Bereich wären sicherlich sinnvoll, aber sind in der Preisklasse bei anderen Modellen oftmals nicht zu finden.

@JosephCee In my Opinion the KRK Rokit 8 does the job better. Still it costs about 150€ more than the BX8 D2. They are good value for money though.

@MediaMixtureDE cool. does the rokit 8 have enough bass though? i've heard that the rokits sound good but dont have as much bass as others. but others say that they do have enough bass.

@JosephCee Well in my opinion they have enough bass. The BX8 have a bit more sub bass but are not as accurate in the bass such as the KRK
