I've actually been doing it different now, I do it when it's dry, I put kera care leave in conditioner, a little water, and motions leave in conditioner, then i braid it and in the morning or afternoon i take the braids out and it look so cute!! Try doing it that way, it may come out better!!!

Oh ok.. well 2 plaits work just as well. It gives your ends a wave more than anything else... I like to wear a poof in the front of mine, so the 2 plaits work better for that style. have you ever tried bantu knots?

You should try 2 cornrows going back, if you hate braiding like I do, it makes big beautiful waves. my hair is a lil past shoulder length but I love doing my braidouts that way.

sorry, i couldnt talk loud. i used water, aveda leave in, and john frieda serum while it was wet. if you look at the braids, there are 2 "french braids" in the front on either side, and 4 individual in the back. it lasted all night but it was still wet when i tried to take it out

Have you considered trying a twist set? It comes out really wavy rather than crinkly. The braid out looks good though. I think you would love the results os a twist set.
