Obama is all lip-service.

I´m German reservist and I´ve voluntarily been in Afghanistan three years ago. Please accept my deepest respect for soldiers like Staff Sergeant Jared C. Monti. I´d wish our society would also respect our own soldiers who serve in Afghanistan at the moment, but I think, only soldiers can understand the meaning of comradeship and courage. History will never forget Sgt Monti's sacrafice, and his name will be remembered throughout history. My country has fought alongside your's many times. My Great Uncle served alongside the 101st and 82nd airborne in WW2 in france. One day I will be proud to serve alongside the US also.

@TheZorseWhisperer This was back in the battle of fallujah and he was clearing houses with his squad of marines. He opened a door in the house and was shot several times including once to the head. After being wounded he moved aside to let the other marines return fire. He saw a grenade roll out of the doorway so he grabbed it and pulled it under himself, saving his marines. They say he only rates the Navy Cross because he was too wounded to make a concious decision to grab the grenade.

I´m German reservist and I´ve voluntarily been in Afghanistan three years ago. Please accept my deepest respect for soldiers like Staff Sergeant Jared C. Monti. I´d wish our society would also respect our own soldiers who serve in Afghanistan at the moment, but I think, only soldiers can understand the meaning of comradeship and courage. May God bless all soldiers who are far from home now, doing their duty.

History will never forget Sgt Monti's sacrafice, and his name will be remembered throughout history. My country has fought alongside your's many times. My Great Uncle served alongside the 101st and 82nd airborne in WW2 in france. One day I will be proud to serve alongside the US also.

I will be a non combatant but I still go out on patrols with fellow soldiers and minister to them, and offer them support, and to serve alongside them is an honour. @TheZorseWhisperer This was back in the battle of fallujah and he was clearing houses with his squad of marines. He opened a door in the house and was shot several times including once to the head. After being wounded he moved aside to let the other marines return fire. He saw a grenade roll out of the doorway so he grabbed it and pulled it under himself, saving his marines. They say he only rates the Navy Cross because he was too wounded to make a concious decision to grab the grenade.
