I've been trying to do the coloring you have for months, i professionally had the front bleached 6 times 6 FREAKING TIMES in a course of a month and it won't go any lighter than a dirty blonde. My hair isn't thick, it looks very much like yours so i can't figure out what the problem is. We even used purple dye to try and get it greyish and my hair wouldn't take that either. Any ideas?
@lambchopclmt I've been doing this for YEARS! The way the lighting was for this vid is why it looks so white, so it's really honestly not that white.
I do have thick hair, though it doesn't look like it in the vid. Back when I first bleached the whole thing it we did it 3 times, with the highest volume available, and it still was orangy in the back.
Shikai makes a Shampoo just for platinum blondes. I used that even on the red and it was fine. It just takes out the brassyness.
Also I don't wash my hair every day, it's not necessary unless you have a job where you just get nasty all the time. I only use all natural products in my hair, and I have a natural wood comb to help spread the oils from scalp to ends. With any kind of coloring, especially bleaching, health of the hair is important. Try that shampoo I recomended, and it's conditioner, and be patient.
Sadly, though, some hair just won't color. Any other kind of color washes out of mine in no time.
ok I need to pick ur brain, HOW did you do that to your hair?? I love it....and I am trying to do my hair like that now but it is never that white/silver...what is your secret....help me...rogue is my fav...and I want your hair!! please help!!
it's best to have someone else do it. that helps to make sure the different colored parts are completely separate. there are two reasons mine looks so white/silverish: one is the lighting in this vid. the other is I have been doing this for several years... ok, like 6. my ends are basically white, but the roots always end up brassy. I always bleach the roots first, then rinse and do it all again. that way they will somewhat match. &remember to condition the crap out of it!
oh i totally understand about having someone else do it...I have brown hair and the front is now beached blonde/white..I have only got it beached twice ( really dont know how often to get my hair beached, I dont want to fry it!! haha) it really took 6 years to make it look the way you have it now!! wow!! I use shimmer lights shampoo and conditioner to pull the brass out! So how long do you wait before you beach again...?? thanks for all your help!!!
@lol9987 it depends how dark your hair is and which products you plan to use, shop bought products aren't very good for blonde, best to get professional products and use bleach, you can use normal bleaching ,extra whitening bleach and there's also toners you can get to take out the yellowness
lol see i thought ur bf looked like gambitXD
