I think this song is about a girl, or anyone, with Multiple Personality Disorder. The lyrics are coming from the point of view of this particular "voice" inside the girl's head. The "voice" is being treated as an actual person, not just a voice. It's like a conversation between this voice and the girl who is no longer letting the voice have control because she is ending her life. "They said it's gonna be alright" - MPD can never be fully treated. These lyrics are sad.. and very real.

@NOMiCATCAT I agree that it's not the usual dancefloor-anthem collection, but I still think it's an awesome album. Even the slow stuff is raw in its own right. And "throat full of glass" absolutely tore my face off. I can't stop listening to it. It's my new favorite even though it's not as hard as "f*ck that sh*t", "get your body beat", "sent to destroy" etc. I like when bands try new things. If you don't like it, that's cool. Lots of people don't like when bands change their sounds.

I was very happy it wasn't like "What the Fuck is wrong with you people?" and had 12 different songs that were just 5 minute beats, with slightly alternating hats or cymbals. Examples: Jack Torrance, HAL 9000, Dawn of Man (though I put that on my ipod for some reason)
