  • The hairs on the back of my neck are standing up now , what a glorius sound of twin merlins !!

  • Sounds great! My favourtie WW2 combat type...I would love to see one fly some day.

  • There is a mossie being restored to airworthy in new zealand for jerry yagen (sp?) in the us. hopefully it will come to the uk sometime soon!

  • The pilot of this Mosquito is very much alive;

(see previous comments)received an email from him today. I was lucky enough to have flown beside Tony in this self-same aircraft. EGNR to RAF Valley (via the odd lake, bridge and mountain!). An experience to end all experiences. Never to be repeated or forgotten.

  • would of loved to see the mosqutio fly along side the Vulcan HX 558 Or XL 391

  • Does anybody know if we'll ever see one of these beautiful aircraft fly again? I have happy memories of watching this particular mossie approaching at tree-top height over the countryside and thinking it sounded much more fearsome than a spitfire!

  • I read in an aircraft mag that there should be one flying by next year. Hopefully that'll be the case.

  • I have got the drop on the lot of you - my father was a night fighter flying Mosquitos from 1943 - 1945 over North Africa and Northern France - he loved flying that - he had spent the previous year flying Beaufighters.

  • God that's a beautiful sound.

  • F*ing Awesome,such a beautiful sound and superb low passes :)

  • Is this the same pilot that was killed in the crash?

  • theres a clip of this one stalling, chrashing and killing the pilot :(

Theres a mossie being built in New Zealand but I dont know if any others are being restored elsewhere, I hope there are though.

    Its a beautiful aircraft

  • what happened to this one?

  • I've got photographs of this day with the Mosquito flying below treetop level. One of the best airshow displays ever. Amazed to come across this clip.

Interesting to see the Lancaster on the ground Believe it's hangar collapsed on top of it under the weight of snow destroying it after it had been moved from Strathallan to Manchester.

Is there really nobody that can get a Mosquito flying in the UK again?......this clip shows us what we are missing.

  • what a superb video and what a superb aircraft. Sadly missed

  • A relative of mine was at Banff Strike Wing in 1944-45. Aircraft like the above are great memorials to such men.

  • Wonderful video of a sadly missed aircraft.
