I think the raptor is a homeage to Dinobot, a charecter in Beast Wars, only he showed what he would look like G1 style.

Wow I did not know there were 7 dinobots in the transformer cartoon. I most have missed some episode or a season to notice more dinobots in the 80s. I wonder how transformers 2 the live action movie will put all them dinobots into one movie, and not mess it up. I guess Michael bay will figure something out to make it work. I would start with 4 dinobots then when the third part comes add the other three dinobots to make them complete. Any way, love the 3D dinobots smiles.

Michael Bay? Figure out things that work? He'll just shaky-cam them so much you won't see their design that great anyway.
