a hopeless game has replaced a game which would have been the best one in the whole series, and see how pathetic the dark prince looks in the two thrones compared to the kindred blades
*sighs* I wish Ubisoft had released this alongside Two Thrones back in the day. So for fans who wanted a Warrior Within like game for the final part in the SoT Trilogy, could get Kindred Blades. While for fans who want a Sands of Time like game, could get Two Thrones.

I mean pop made ubisoft what they are(along with splinter cell as well) but they ruined the franchise firstly with that poor pop 2008 and then a buggy forgotten sands to cash in on movie hype. @seanw23 Well, when you die, you can't use your body anymore so you can't use the dagger or the amulet of time either. In the games, you have a little time when your health reaches 0 before you die when you can rewind.
Personally i love the idea of open world babylon which kindred blades was supposedly about. I think instead of making forgotten sands ubi should've used KB concept and extend prince's story beyond TTT. Anyway was prince supposed to rewind time in KB?

You can´t compare TFS with KB they´re very different TFS is a childish thing, KB was meant to be a game for real men!! Some day they are going to realese kindred blades be sure of that they can´t hide this any longer.

Do you remember those extra clips from WW wich had nothing to do with the story, right? I think that's how TFS was designed back then to look like, but, here we go again, just ike with theTTT. Let's say tht the KB is a parallel story of T2T after WW... Like WW, u can decide to kill Kaileena or kill the Dahaka... But in this case, looks like it was cut off from WW and created a 2 parallel stories in the 3rd installment of PoP... Kindred Blades and The Two Thrones...

They removed most of the maps, even some (mini?)bosses, brought back Yuri Lowenthall (because he wasn`t doing the Prince`s voice in POP3), re-wrote the story and dialouges, changed the graphics into worse and the speed run too. For more informations, just watch the 2 videos at 3:18.

Yeah, some of my friends thought that if they play the last part of the game that should have been superior to the previous games then they would like the series. Well since then they can't look at a PoP game without commentin on how much it will suck.

TTT had it's faults, like the bad story, unnecesarry health upgrades(you can beat the game on the hardest level with only two or three collected), not to mention the lack of weapons and bad use of characters and appearance.

I have to agree. The game did have a interesting art direction, but even with that the game its self seemed to fail in the face of its lack luster combat.
Personally I found that the battles were too far and in between and that when there was a fight...it was a little bit too tame when compared to the rest of the series.
If only they could keep the 'movie-like' angles and yet have more enemies to battle within them. It would probably help a little more with the problem....

All the pop games are great IMO and i could play any one of them at any time. The fact that there making another expansion to the series is epic. So why do people have to complain about having more. The Two Thrones is best at game play because the boss fights are by far the best in all of the games because its not mindless key bashing an it's not the same thing over an over.
@modtyrant ok you have a point at the bosses but i think WW was far better then TTT, WW had more soul then TTT in combat, storyline, and most inportant in entretainment, sure TTT had some new moves like the speed kill and the umm... ok so it had one new move but it didnt have the variety of fighting moves WW offered. dont get me wrong i liked TTT but i think they could've done better job at making the CLOSURE OF THE TRILOGY.
Uh if you played T2T you would know that it offers all the same attacks and abilities as WW an on top of that it adds the carriage missions. Don't forget you get a whole new set of combat attacks and moves when using dark prince. Don't get me wrong i like WW and all the other Prince of Persia games but there all good equally in there own right. WW had the dahakka chases and secret ending boss. Sands of Time required more effort when fighting because you had to finish them with the dagger etc
I don't get why people LIKED WW the prince went from being a serious but likable guy even given all the screwed up circumstances and became this whinny annoying emo douche whos only defining characteristic was his new grimdark anger. the game itself involved nothing but back tracking with one of the worst map systems I've ever delt with the game was garbage and the worst in the trilogy hands down. and the fact that they are dredging up the sands of time again is another way to beat a dead horse.
Well can't say anything about SOT. Its a brilliant game and all but WW is my favorite because of the heavy metal music and the revamped combat system. I still hate Hack and slash combat (ofcourse few exceptions like DMC) and i feel that in FS we will have best combat system in POP Series.

Let's say tht the KB is a parallel story of T2T after WW... Like WW, u can decide to kill Kaileena or kill the Dahaka... But in this case, looks like it was cut off from WW and created a 2 parallel stories in the 3rd installment of PoP... Kindred Blades and The Two Thrones...
I just make my own thoughts about KB and T2T relation.. Feel free to comment back..

They removed most of the maps, even some (mini?)bosses, brought back Yuri Lowenthall (because he wasn`t doing the Prince`s voice in POP3), re-wrote the story and dialouges, changed the graphics into worse and the speed run too. For more informations, just watch the 2 videos at 3:18.

Kindred Blades is the unreleased POP3, it has been replaced in the last few months with TTT, and TFS will be released this may for PS3, XBOX360, PSP and Wii.

Yeah, some of my friends thought that if they play the last part of the game that should have been superior to the previous games then they would like the series. Well since then they can't look at a PoP game without commentin on how much it will suck.

To you maybe, but to me and many other gamers it isn't.
TTT had it's faults, like the bad story, unnecesarry health upgrades(you can beat the game on the hardest level with only two or three collected), not to mention the lack of weapons and bad use of characters and appearance.
The prince looks nothing like the one in WW, Kaylina looks ugly and she plays the stupid damsel in distress which doesn't fit her personality from WW.
And these are just what came to my mind in 2 minutes.

The Prince of Persia Franchise should show something new if the game its like the others there is no reason to make another!!!!
They should explore other areas, They should make a different gameplay or different aways to play with the scenario! they could do a game more like assassin's creed 2! And why not!? Ubisoft made a game that is a new step in game's evolution, games have evolved, so Prince of Persia showd evolve as well, as it as evolde from the first Prince of Persia from Pc!!!!

and the art direction was really good. the only problem was with the battle areas.

I have to agree. The game did have a interesting art direction, but even with that the game its self seemed to fail in the face of its lack luster combat.
Personally I found that the battles were too far and in between and that when there was a fight...it was a little bit too tame when compared to the rest of the series.
If only they could keep the 'movie-like' angles and yet have more enemies to battle within them. It would probably help a little more with the problem....

Guys please, look I don,t want to start a fire but in my opinion the TWO THRONES was the best of the POP saga, and I thought that they just change the title, KB trailer looks cool, but I don´t imagine a better way to end the prince quest!

They changed Kindred Blades into TTT because SOT fanatics invaded the POP forums during the developing of the game. They thaught that KB will be 99% WW (wich is 10% fake) or they just were obsessed to have a game 99% SOT. The result was (quotation from Tristan129) "from epic to fail").
And about TFS, there are rumours saying that the story was planned since WW. (DK how much to belive that.)

All the pop games are great IMO and i could play any one of them at any time. The fact that there making another expansion to the series is epic. So why do people have to complain about having more. Do you want less?, because if you do you have problems. The Two Thrones is best at game play because the boss fights are by far the best in all of the games because its not mindless key bashing an it's not the same thing over an over.

@modtyrant ok you have a point at the bosses but i think WW was far better then TTT, WW had more soul then TTT in combat, storyline, and most inportant in entretainment, sure TTT had some new moves like the speed kill and the umm... ok so it had one new move but it didnt have the variety of fighting moves WW offered. dont get me wrong i liked TTT but i think they could've done better job at making the CLOSURE OF THE TRILOGY.

Uh if you played T2T you would know that it offers all the same attacks and abilities as WW an on top of that it adds the carriage missions. Don't forget you get a whole new set of combat attacks and moves when using dark prince. Don't get me wrong i like WW and all the other Prince of Persia games but there all good equally in there own right. WW had the dahakka chases and secret ending boss. Sands of Time required more effort when fighting because you had to finish them with the dagger etc

I don't get why people LIKED WW the prince went from being a serious but likable guy even given all the screwed up circumstances and became this whinny annoying emo douche whos only defining characteristic was his new grimdark anger. the game itself involved nothing but back tracking with one of the worst map systems I've ever delt with the game was garbage and the worst in the trilogy hands down. and the fact that they are dredging up the sands of time again is another way to beat a dead horse.

Well can't say anything about SOT. Its a brilliant game and all but WW is my favorite because of the heavy metal music and the revamped combat system. I still hate Hack and slash combat (ofcourse few exceptions like DMC) and i feel that in FS we will have best combat system in POP Series.

Kindred Blades looks exactly like Warrior Within except with the Dark Prince element. The Two Thrones had a better story and utilized Warrior Within's elements and it's own pretty damn well.
