I'm 15 years old and I feel a lot of negative energy in my house... maybe it's just me but I always get the chills. Even when my family is home with me. Do you have any suggestions on how I should get started with my cleansing? I was thinking of burning sage, and I do have crystals, your opinion would be really appreciated! :)
@mrsgeeway80 Burning a sage smudge stick is a very good idea. I'm not very informed on my crystals, yet. So no opinion there. But If you are Christian, pray to God asking Him to clean your house of any spirits or energies that are negative. Ask Him to keep everyone in your house safe from anything in the house that would wish to do you harm. Then ask Him to take the spirit or energy where it belongs. Thank Him & End the prayer properly. If you have Holy Water sprinkle that around the perimeter
@mrsgeeway80 .... of each room during the prayer, and also with sage in your hand, use your other hand to fan/waft the smoke into the room as well - all during the prayers. Say the prayer continuously while you go to each room, starting with the top floor (or farthest room) and go down until you get to the front door. You want to clean the house of it by "driving it OUT" not trapping it IN by starting at the front door. IMHO That's how some places get stuck with an entity.

soo here's my question: what's that say to ya? i believed it would work and it did - but it wasn't love light and me ignoring it.
it was attention paid to it in a way, but it still worked. we never gave the ghost attention in any other way - not even to talk about it INSIDE the house. this cleansing was the only way and a whispered and even silent prayer said with it did nothing to provoke it at the time... and in the end worked.

here's the thing: in catholic churches they also use incense as a blessing "agent" so to speak, not just Holy water (water mind you, not oil). Everyone can pray for assistance for protection, blessing, etc. to God right? I am too... with the aid of oils & incense, accentuated with Christian prayers to God.
PS - If it was so evil... then why would we have 6 months of absolutely no activity? My husband attested to it *after* I told him how I'd blessed the house

i would only be worried, if i were you, if you were being physically attacked - unexplained bruises, scratches, things like that. or if you were feeling held down or you were pushed. otherwise it's just a nuisance - much like a poltergeist.
typically, and you can read this on the site for the group TAPS (on the show "GHOST HUNTERS" on Sci-Fi channel), teens in a household that has paranormal activity that is *non-violent*, the "ghost" tends to be referred to as a poltergeist, and they believe these "happenings" are brought on by a teenager, almost always unconsciously so, too. hm. that's scary. well i would say to go through religious sites (Christian as well as Wiccan), see what you'd prefer - there's always olive oil, sage rubbing, & holy water you can try as well, that's why i say that.
girl at my work suggested holy water & olive oil if my incese & oil blessings/cleansings don't work - so yeah. always do tons of research on alternate methods.

i need help cause i had 3 disturbances,
