hi mate own a bm but been out tonight on a board for a spin its fucking cold in england , got a 600 motor but not that happy , fast when pissed but should it do mor edude
Beemer setup reminds me of a nicely designed koa wood surf board! Beautiful!
By sprockets - are you talking about the drive wheel and replacing that to larger sprockets? Please do post!
With my new li-ion battery on my e-glide, it now does 25-30mph, so it's beginning to get into the 'need to armor up' realm of 35-40mph - but I like possibilities!
Check out the Metroboard Electric Skateboard, for a much lighter product weighing only 19-21 lbs, with an incredible 15 mile range, thanks to its high-tech NiMH or LiFePO4 batteries. These 52 lb products in this video can't come close to the Metroboard's range #'s. Also, the Metroboard will soon add a 600 Watt version to their lineup, with a 20 mph top speed! It also uses a super-cool remote, a wireless Wii Nunchuck for speed and braking control.
Cool collection. I'm considering a 600 watt board to start. I don't have any skateboard experience. But 20 mph on a board sounds pretty crazy if your inexperienced like me.
I dont know exactly. Boom borda or also known as Rokit science claim 25 mile and hour. The 400 watt motors from eglide are really fast about 20 mph and very battery efficient. The 600 watt boards from EMAD or ALTERED do about 19 mph or so. The 600 watt motor boards have the greatest potential to increase speed in my opinion. I'll be posting the site where you can buy larger sprockets to increase the 600 watt boards to 25 mph. These sprockets are very inexpensive and easily installed.
@leo22732 Hey, just got an EMAD 600W board. Sweet ride but trying to up the speed a bit. You said you have a supplier link to buy larger sprockets? You must be talking about a larger sprocket on the motor side, not the drive wheel?
