I was a Rotary exchange student. People mentioned Minas Gerais when I was in Brazil. I think it might have been near where i lived. Maybe. lol..i lived in Itapira, Sao Paulo, Brasil. Suggestions..umm...im not really sure. i knew spanish for the most part when I went down but i did try learning on my own before I left. when you get there, you will learn it eventually, unless you hang out with ppl that speak english all the time. But you will be ok. =D

yeah....well this was like a week or 2 after I arrived in Brasil without speaking any portuguese at all....now my portuguese is pretty good
