For several years here in North Idaho I have been sitting comfortably in my home watching the game thru my dinning room window. It's been real entertaining each animal has it's own distinct personality. Since the reintroduction of the wolf in our area there has been a steep decline. First the turkeys and rabbits then the deer, elk, and moose vanished. Now my dog (with me right there) 5' 7" from door.Yea, it was a wolf. Truck is parked about 20' from the door. The bleeding heart liberals who want to "save" the wolves need to get out in the woods and see the devestation these killing machines are doing. All these people who are supporting wolves on here sit comfortably in their homes without the first clue of what is REALLY happening in the woods. The wolves are stressing the other predators in the woods. The cougars and bears are becoming more aggressive with humans due to wolves devastating the elk and deer population.
let the wolves hunt the elk too. It's only fair that since hundreds of hunters are taking elk every year that the wolves can join in and do something they were put on this rock to do. they can't roll up to a supermarket and buy some eggs and bacon!

@ruj1970 Elk/deer population has remained steady for 15 years in both Idaho and Minnesota (Minnesota has the largest population of wolves in the lower 48). I don't have the data on Montana and Wyoming. Habit health is the number one determinant of elk population over the long term. Wolves have moved the elk and that is healthy for ecology.

@ruj1970 I got my information from the Idaho Fish and Game web site. They do a study every year. You have to look at each report separately to get elk numbers for each year. The Fish and Game wildlife biologist, that I spoke to, said that while the elk numbers haven't changed, they are harder to get to.
@345kobi IF&G's studies are pure bullshit! They count a very small percentage of game and plug that into a computer model that estimates the game populations in the entire state. Just more lies like you got from the "biologist" you claim you spoke to. They're harder to get to because they've all turned into wolf shit you fucking moron!

They have slaughtered the elk and deer in unit 27. I hunted 27 all my life. been packing in 30 plus miles for 25 plus years. I havn't went elk hunting in 27 for 4 years now. The elk and deer have been just pounded by these things... It makes me sick these fucks in other states tell Idaho what is best for our woods...
