Man!, that's the stupidest tradition, that the owners are the first one's to lift the trophy and not the team captain. Also another thing that annoys me(im happy that the announcers dit not do that in the video) is that people in the US tend to call their NBA champions World Champions which is ridiculous because America is clearly not the world and that the competition is not far behind in europe, for example Barcelona won the Lakers in a highly competitive game in Spain with NBA rules.

Now for 2010. I think that the the celtics and lebron have some angst and revenge on their mind. I doubt they're the only ones. A lot of teams wanted the championship. I wonder if the lakers can keep the thirst for a championship alive in this competitive environment. It's going to be fierce and get ugly sometimes. I'm behind the lakers, but whoever wins, I'll bow and give them the respect they deserve. So many great players and teams.

Aside from a few hiccups (they were few and far between), the 2009 playoff season was a clincher. I tried to watch every lakers game on ESPN. It was just like old times. I haven't watched the NBA for so long but this laker team brought me back. It was amazing. It was nail-biting. Everyone who competed played well and gave it their all. Sometimes luck is all it's, but you can't say that the lakers didn't play as a team that they didn't try. Thank you everyone for making it a great season!
