I was in NYC on a class trip when this show was running, but I had never heard of it, nor was it even an option. I would have happily given up my ticket for the two shows I went to see for just a last row balcony seat to this masterpiece.

I doubt it. A Class Act was 2000-2001, while Wicked premiered in 2003. However, ACA went up against The Producers.
