There's no hard'n fast rule to wheelie, and besides a power wheelie at those revs would look & feel jerky cause he was almost run out in that gear. Suppose he could have cogged up and then... but how much space did he have?
Congrats on getting the permit, now run along and get yourself some safety apparel, t-shirt, sneakers and tracksuit pants are nowhere near as good as leathers when it comes to eating ashphalt. Checkout my vid and yes although I am wearing leather shoes I do need some new boots which I will be getting soon, nice bike, safe riding to ya mate. cheers.
