thank you! I actually performed with Simon in portland and seattle for his shpongle dj sets. I hope to perform with him more often, but only time will tell
could you tell me what diameter your hoop is and what size tubing you use? I have always used heavier hoops but would like to experiment with one your size. I really like the way it moves.
I think my hoop's diameter is about 42inches, but I'm really not sure. It's bigger than you'd think. And it is very light...I have barely any tape...just the white parts of the hoop are tape and it's electric tape. It's 3/4 inch gauge. Thanks for your interest :)

I will let you know when I find out where I will be located over the next coming months. Probably WI or Co. Ever hear of Harvest Fest in Minnesota? Your performing art is quite amazing, and I will keep in touch in the hope of meeting you one day down the path.
Where are you located? I love how each of your performances is different depending on the music. Rare for hoopers. I am trying to get up to date videos of my hooping so I can begin to gain creative networks of artists such as yourself
I was living in Burlington VT, but now I am southern ME...but only for another month. I will be going on a cross country trip in the fall/winter! During that time I hope to meet new Hoop Dancers and exchange ideas/techniques. where r u located?
Thank you so much for posting this video. You are one of the most sensual spinners I have ever seen. I especially enjoyed the final spin, the arm placement was gorgeous
Do you have a facebook with all your videos on it as well. You really should share your artwork with as many people as possible. Your the reason I enjoy hooping now and you got me hooked on dubstep. Especially shpongle and benga
this is just beautiful sweet hoop sister! you are stunningly graceful with your hoop dance and expression. Thank you so very much for sharing this art work with us. Sending much love from OR! <3 <3 <3
amazing as always Mona! I'm glad you figured out the spiral and I'm psyched you were able to tape it and share it with the world! Did your professor finally come around? If this isn't art I don't know what is
This is so surreal. My mind is blown every time I watch it. I get so whacked out when you're doin the isolations and cocking your head to the side. Your movement, as usual, is mesmerizing. And the creativity of the setting is nothing short of amazing.
this is an amazing piece, you actually did this for your final project?
