  • what this means is that if you pray to the virgen mary, she would tell her son and he will do it even if he doesn't want to

  • I agree with Cherubaby! Excellent video, THANK YOU!

  • Exceptionally Beautiful! No other video of the Blessed Virgin Mary has moved me as much as this one.

  • As a bible believing Christian, I'm just seeking some more info on why Catholics pray to Mary.

I appreciate the respectful dialogue for this video, thank you.

    But question:

God is not King Solomon, so how can you relate these?

It seems to me that when we force our own meanings in to the stories or verses in the bible, we open the door wide for every kind of false teaching.

If there was 1 single example of believers praying to any other than God in the bible, I would reconsider. God Bless

  • @Infidelrf, Hello :) Have you ever heard of Typology? The New Testament is hidden in the Old. And the Old is revealed in the New Testament. Jesus says in Mt 5:17 "“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." Everything in the Old testament is a prefigurement of what is to be in the New Testament.

  • @1Hope4All Not everything in the Old Testament is a direct correlation to the New. If it were, then every book of the OT would be prophetic, and this is simply not the case.

The type of Biblical interpretation used in this video could be used to justify any erroneous belief system that strays from sound doctrine.

A "type" is always identified as such in the NT.(1Cor.5:7 for example).

This is an example of imposing a belief into scripture that doesn't exist.

  • @Infidelrf, I never said that EVERYTHING in the OT is a direct correlation to the New. You are completely ignorant of the Catholic faith. If you were not, then you would be Catholic right now. You are in my prayers.

  • @Infidelrf, what is in the New Testament is a "fulfillment" of what was in the Old. Just as Jesus says in Matthew 5:17. ;)

  • @Infidelrf, The Catholic Church does not "force" any translations of any Scripture verse. The Holy Spirit is in charge in the Catholic Church. ;)

    God bless you too. †

  • @Infidelrf, The phrase "pray to" only means "making a request" for something. We are "requesting" the prayers of others. In this case, we request the prayers of Mary who is closest to Jesus. The best person to ask for prayers is one who is very close to Jesus. A humble child can easily talk to Jesus and Jesus will listen.

In James 5:16 we are told to pray for one another. That is an example that we pray to Mary, meaning we ask her to pray for us to Jesus her Son.

    Have a blessed night. †

  • ... . and when Jesus himself has given her as our Mother on the cross its always an added advantage before Jesus when praying with Mother Mary.. try praying with Mother Mary for any of your Spiritual or earthly intentions. and see how fast you get the results same like in the wedding of Cana and post your comments Praise the Lord Hallelujah

  • Its always an added advantage when praying with mother Mary to Jesus. coz humans are born sinful. But exceptional case was with Jesus and Mother Mary both born without original sin . Jesus himself God. But mother Mary is only the 3rd human in the history to born without the original sin and the first two died in sin. In this case above all humans born to this world Mother Mary always have a special seat before God . .... continued ...

  • this is vdeo speaks abt King Solomon, not Jesus, know d truth for JESUS speaks of Truths in d bible,HE is d WAY,TRUTH &LIFE

  • @aishinyukeilote, The New Testament fulfills what is in the Old Testament. I guess you don't know much about the Bible. Ever heard of Typology? Ever heard of Matthew 5:17? “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." That is Jesus speaking telling us that what was in the Old Testament is not to be abolished. God is the same yesterday, today and forever!!! Don't be ignorant about what is in the Scriptures.

  • This song is awesome, Ave Maria!

  • i dont get it.....all good people go to heaven, bad people go to hell, and its been this way for about three thousand years according to the faithfull, so what do the faithfull think happened to all the people for the other 98,000 years since humans evolved? where did they go when they died?

  • @atheistdawn, first, please use spellcheck. Second, humans did not evolve. Third, not all "good" people go to heaven & not all "bad" people go to hell. If you don't understand why I say this, I will not explain because I can only fit so many characters on this post. ;)

  • I Love you mother Mary and I have been praying to you every day lately.I ask and pray that you are with me now and the hour of my death.

  • How many times to I have to explain this?! Catholics do NOT worship Mary!! They venerate her!! THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!! Dont judge Catholics because theirs is the true faith.

  • We are all brothers and sisters in Christ. Live by the word and you will make the lord happy. Respect the lord, his mother and fellow brothers and sisters. Do not cause a rift between fellow believers in Christ. You should all remember that only our lord can rightfully judge us. Love ur brothers and sisters and pray for them even though their interpretation of the word is different. Satan wants to tear the family of Jesus apart. Don't let it happen.

  • worshiping mother mary is like doing ideal worship, she is not god, she was chosen because she was a wise and good women only, so bilive in teuth i.e jesus christ

  • @jjackson802, Mary is NOT God. We are not worshiping her as if she is God. And there are lots of good and wise women in the bible. God made Mary PURE & HOLY from the moment of her conception because it was fitting to have the Mother of God the Son to be PURE and untouchable just like the Ark. Mary is the Ark of the NEW Covenant.

  • @jjackson802 how about using spell check? Catholics do not believe she is "divine," or is equal to "God" ... She is created by God, and Jesus is her Savior, BUT, He, being God, the 2nd Person of the Holy Trinity, chose to 'save her from sin' at the time of her conception, rather than later. WHY is that SO HARD for you and others to grasp? It's because of anti-Catholic bigotry. Admit that. THEN do research and 'learn' the TRUTH yourself. God bless.

  • those who make mother mary god are simply doing ideal worship, bible never says that mother mary is god, so bilive in thruth i.e lord jesus christ, cause he is the way , the truth and the life.

  • @jjackson802, what you mean is IDOL Worship. We do not worship idols. We do not worship Mary. We Catholics do not say that Mary brings us to God. Since Jesus came to us through Mary, we go to Jesus through Mary. Then Jesus brings us to God the Father in Heaven.

  • Outstanding song!Great explanation for our veneration of Mary. The woman singing has a wonderfull voice.

  • What about dear Father Joseph T-T ? to me he is very important .To me since Mother Mary is married to them they complete eachother and are one.I pray to Father Joseph everyday after I pray to Mother Mary.

  • @Tenten411, just because we Catholics say that Mary is important, does not mean we are saying that Joseph is not important. Of course he is.

    St. Joseph, pray for us!

  • It's very important to finish the rest of the story, because Solomon refuses his mother's request.

The point being here that the Christ will *always* listen to His mother's prayers, but whether or not He grants the request is only up to Him. It's about God's will, and nobody else's. But, Mary will *always* present our petitions to her Son. And, her intercesion is very powerful.

O, Queen, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Amen.

    Salve Regina.

    Ave Maria.

  • catholic church is not the only church established by christ...that commend itself shows that you are very religious not spiritual...you are submerged in religious superstitions....only if u read bible you can realise it...ofcourse mother mary is a respectable person... where is the evidence that she is the queen of heaven?is there in bible?i believe in jesus and reads bible everry day....thats our life... there is no chance for a mdiator like mary or saints...

  • @lijomon2008, you read the bible but you have no one to instruct to as far as the interpretation; ... UNLESS you come to God's ONE & ONLY Church, the Catholic Church. Mary is Queen of Heaven and Earth. Rev 12:1

If you ask me to pray for you, I would. That is me mediating for you. The ONLY way we can get to God the Father is through Jesus Christ but Mary is the one to bring people to Jesus since He came through Mary. I can also help bring people to Jesus so that Jesus can bring them to God.

  • @lijomon2008 If Catholic church is not the only Church He established then where did you get the lineage of your church (that is if you are going for a sunday Christian church). For us Catholics we can trace our lineage from the history and its development before the Bible came up to its first printing. The Bible you are mentioning were collated and printed and distributed by Catholics from different places and culture. It was translated first by Catholics. So it was studied first by Catholics.

  • Thank God I was saved from Catholicism. Now I have a clear consciense before God in Christ, I know I am forgiven and have eternal life in Christ. Moreover, as I yield my life to Christ everyday by faith in his death on the cross for my sins and resurrection He lives His life more and more through me giving victory over my old nature and sinful habits. I tried for years as a catholic, participated in the sacraments and mass, fasted and prayed but lived with guilt, insecurity, and weakness to some sins

  • @chamzoful, I'm sorry you left the one and only Church established by Christ. You did not have the gift of faith and you still do not have it. If you did, you would've never left the Catholic Church. The guilt comes from your own mistrust in Jesus forgiving you your sins when going to Confession. I do not live with guilt after confessing my sins. Why? Because I trust that Jesus forgave me in that Sacrament! We are all weak in sin as we are all sinners. We just have to trust in Jesus!! Come back!

  • please do not worship mary she is not greater than jesus.plz do not pray to her as nothing happens when u pray to her but her spirit cries instead.she called jesus as lord n she sat near jesus feet always,if she was really greater then father would have mentioned her name also in john 3:16.plz read bible carefully dnt be blind.if u believe this ull be recieving heaven...amen thank u

  • @dinkitaka, No ONE is worshipping Mary!!!!! Catholics do NOT worship Mary!!

  • Mary went on to live out her life as a normal woman. No where in the bible are we told to pray to Mary. The Apostle Jameswas Jesus' brother, as Mary and Joseph had additional children.Jesus has said in his word that those who follow his teachings and worship in Spirit and Truth are a part of His family. God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit comprise the Godhead.Mary is not a part of this alliance.Catholics follow an entirely gospel. Praying to dead saints and praying to Mary, are not promoted.

  • @reinwitgsus, you have no idea what you're saying. shame shame shame...

  • @1Hope4All

Dear Friend in Christ, thank you for pointing this out. I've just realized the inadvertence on my part w/c made my statement general in sense. It was never my intention.

  • @bangersbeansandmash

    cont.

anyway my point is, we all have different beliefs but so long as we are living them out in the best way that we can, for the glory of God, w/o acting so hypocritically self-righteous so as to the point of having to rabidly shove it to the throats of those who hold opposite views, then we are doing fine. still, it is my prayer, that in their own light, that they find what mary’s special and significant role in our lives is.

  • @existentialiste832, I'm sorry but our "different beliefs" are not what we are to believe just because we believe in them. There is only ONE Truth and that is Jesus Christ. It is not based upon what we believe. So no, not everything is fine if we believe something other than Jesus Christ is God.

  • @bangersbeansandmash

one of my best-friends is a protestant who is also passionate abt the said matter. i never argued w/ her abt it but whenever i had the opportunity in the past, i tried to give her a memento of the blessed virgin. for the first attempt (rosary-bracelet), she acceded but on the last one (pocket-sized picture card of mary and st. therese), she vehemently refused. i still remember the horror in her face. lol.

  • Where in the Bible does it state that anyone other than Christ himself should intercede with God on our behalf? Please help as I am struggling to understand this view.

  • @theantinwofish, James 5:16 says that we should all pray for one another. When we pray for someone, that is called INTERCEDING for someone. When we "pray to" Mary, all that means is that we are "making a humble request" for Mary to pray FOR us to her son Jesus. There is only ONE Mediator between God & man. We go to God through Jesus. BUT we go to Jesus THROUGH MARY because Jesus came to us through Mary. :)

    Peace & Love in Christ

    Sandra

  • @theantinwofish you have to understand that mary's role as a mediator is 'maternal' w/c is in the nature of intercession. one example, her presence at the wedding in cana wherein her role as a mediatrix was brought to fore. her concern for the the people was manifested--'there's no more wine...' plus she acts and speaks in the name of the Son. hence, a special mediation can be observed, mary as mediatrix between people in need and her Son, Jesus Christ.

  • The Blessed Mother IS a mediator of God & man. Jesus IS GOD! If She didn't choose (& She DID have a choice) 2 accept the task OFFERED 2 her by God, Jesus would not have been immaculately concieved by the Holy Spirit thru the human Mary. Thus, becoming human/man Himself to save us. Think about the marriage in Cana when Jesus miraculously transformed water into wine. He saw that it was needed, yet did it only because of His mother's plea. He would never have done it if She didn't ask Him to. See?

  • @Iwtchutube Friend, why don't Catholics read the Bible? Is it because the Church discourages it or why?

Luke 11:27-28 … a woman said to him, "Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!" But he said, "Blessed RATHER are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"

John 2:3-5 ...Mary: "They have no wine." And Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come." His mother said to the servants, "DO WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU."!

  • @StratMatt777, Jesus was actually saying that His Mother Mary hears the WORD of God and she keeps it!!!

If not for Mary's interceding, Jesus would not have performed His first miracle in the bible. He was actually obeying HER!! And Mary was telling us to listen to her Son Jesus. She was not telling us not to worship her idiot!! We do NOT worship Mary and she knows it!!

  • @1Hope4All So jesus created mary and He obeys her too? Since when does God take orders from his creation?

  • @Supaflow7, Mary is the mother of God the Son. So the Son who is Jesus Christ obeys his mother like a good jewish boy would obey their mother. Jesus is FULLY God and Fully Man!! So the man that is Jesus Christ who is also GOD obeys His mother.

  • Poor Jesus. His mother tells Him they are out of wine and he says it's not yet His time but she tells the servants to do whatever He tells you, and Jesus obeys. Then, He asks His Father if it is His will, to let this cup pass from Him, and his Father does not will it to pass. Jesus obeyed His Mother's will and His Father's will and denied His own human will even when if it brought on pain and suffering. He honored His Mother and Father. Just like you said, a Good Jewish Boy. He still does.

  • I can approach Jesus Christ Himself becasue of the blood of the Lamb, so whereas such intercession of mary may be possible (I havent researched the matter enough), I see no good reason why I myself should not just approach the throne of grace with confidence to find mercy and grace in my time of need (Hebrews 4). I can have my prayers perfectly answered by Jesus, my mediator before the Father, and I recieve daily interecession by inexpressable groans through the Holy Spirit.

  • @ArminianMorningTea, Mary is Mother of the Eucharist. She can still pray for us no matter how many times we go to Adoration and receive Holy Communion. There is nothing wrong with us asking for her intercession.

  • @ArminianMorningTea Christ himself gave Her to us. He placed Her inbetween us and Him. He said to John who represents Mankind "Behold your Mother" And John took Her into his own! I would ask yourself why you disobey a command from Christ Himself. Protestants want to treat Her with dishonor and blasphemy when Christ Himself commanded Her as Our Mother. Mary leads to Christ not away! Her desire is to unit us to Christ Her Son and God.

  • @MilitiaofImmaculata

Where is the scriptures is this found "Behold your Mother" Book, chapter and verse please.

  • @theantinwofishj, JOHN 19:27 After that, he saith to the disciple: Behold thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple took her to his own.

We are all God's beloved disciples if we believe and obey what Jesus said. He said, "He who hears you hears me. He who rejects you, rejects me." Luke 10:16. He was talking to the Apostles who were the Catholic Church's First Bishops! So please, learn what the Catholic Church teaches and OBEY! Jesus started His Church for you!

  • @ArminianMorningTea Hey Tea! Interesting U quoted Hebrews 4! What is the "throne of grace" made reference to and how did the Hebrew believers understand THAT in light of the O.T.? What is significant about the words deliberately chosen "let us BOLDLY APPROACH" the throne of grace? You said "U receive daily intercession by inexpressible groans through the Holy Spirit" How do you explain that in light of Zech 12:10? GBU!

  • Jesus Christ said, "Behold your mother" . Hail Mary !!! Full of grace the Lord is with thee.Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen Proud to be Catholic.

  • The Cannon of Sacred Scripture, the offical list of the inspired books of the Bible, was contained in the Decree of Pope St. Damasus and published by a regional council of Carthage in 397A.D. Since it was the Catholic Church which God used to give us the Bible, it only makes common sence that same Church should be trusted to correctly interpret the Bible.

  • The only mediator between God and Man is Jesus Christ this is blasphemy

  • @laysea65, it is apparant that you have not watched and carefully listened to the entire video with an open mind and heart. This is NOT blasphemy!! Mary can pray for us just as you can pray for me. That's all it is. We are asking her to pray for us.

  • @laysea65 So it would be wrong for somone to ask you to pray for them?

  • @laysea65 So it would be wrong for somone to ask you to pray for them? The word of God tells us; "To pray for one another." Blasphemy? You have a very poor understanding of Scripture. Peace.

  • @laysea65 Yes, but Mary is not the mediator between man and God, but between man and Christ. For instance, remember the centurion who approached Christ, asking that his servant be healed? Christ, never even having actually met the servant, granted the centurions petition because of his faith. The centurion was his servant's intercessor to Christ.

If you still feel the same way, then you should refuse those who ask for your prayers, and rebuke those who inform you that they'll pray for you.

  • @laysea65 If you knew anything about Catholicism. you would know that we go THROUGH Mary to Jesus for Mary to ALSO pray for us. So we are NOT breaking the Mediator ship of Jesus

  • Jesus said to pray to the Father in Jesus' name.... since He is our Lord and Master, lets listen to Him and be obedient. .... Go straight to the Father, no intercessor needed. Jesus is the only mediator between God and man,

  • @storge07, so if I ask you to pray for me you wouldn't pray for me? That's all it is. When we say the Hail Mary, we are proclaiming her the mother of Jesus and then ask her to pray for us. I could be a mediator for you by praying for you. We all have to lead people to Jesus and that is what Mary does. And then Jesus leads us to God.

  • @storge07 you contradict biblical scripture where it says in 1 Timothy 2:1 where it says we are to make intercessions for eachother go back and learn again man

  • @storge07 then you should refuse those who ask for your prayers, and rebuke those who inform you that they'll pray for you.

  • @storge07

We agree Jesus is the only mediator between God and man. (Being Catholics we agree with every single word of scripture) But Mary praying for us does not impead on Christ's sole mediatorship, just as I praying for you or you for me does not. Mary prays to Jesus for us. What a great gift Christ gave us. God Bless

  • "The bible says that the prayer of the righteous is very powerful. There is no other more righteous than Mary. So asking Mary to pray for us is a good thing because her prayers are very powerful."

Don't tell me that that's not worshiping!

  • @777Discipleship777, So if I asked you to pray for me I would be worshipping you?

  • I respect catholics and their belief, and Mary, but it seems that catholics are making Mary a goddess by kneeling before her statue giving her a title such as "Mother of God" or "Queen of Heaven". God doesn't need a mother and God doesn't need a queen. All glory, worship, honor, and veneration should go to the Father through the Son.

  • @777Discipleship777, We never said that Mary is a goddess. In fact, Mary would not like that if we did. And if you believe that Jesus is God, and you believe that Mary gave birth to Jesus, then why wouldn't you believe that Mary is the mother of God? She is Mary, Mother of God the Son after all !!!

"All Glory and Honor is Yours Almighty Father!"

  • @1Hope4All "And if you believe that Jesus is God, and you believe that Mary gave birth to Jesus, then why wouldn't you believe that Mary is the mother of God? She is Mary, Mother of God the Son after all !!!"

"'I tell you the truth,' Jesus answered, 'before Abraham was born, I am!'" John 8:58

  • @777Discipleship777, yes, what about it? Jesus was here from the beginning as it says in St. John's Gospel. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God..." What about it?

Mary still gave birth to God the Son. She is still the mother of God. She is His MOTHER, NOT His Creator!!!

  • @1Hope4All Then why did Jesus called Mary, before He died on the cross, "woman" and not "mother"?

As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, "Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you." He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it." Luke 11:27-28

Jesus would say the same thing to a catholic!

  • @777Discipleship777, because she is the Woman in Genesis 3:15 and also the Woman in Revelations 12:1. Read your bible. God put EMNITY between the WOMAN and Satan. So Satan CANNOT touch her as she is without sin. She is also the Woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet and a crown of 12 stars on her head. If she has a head and feet, that is her bodily assumption. Mary is THEE Woman!!

  • @1Hope4All The woman in the Revelation is Israel and the 12 stars represent the 12 tribes of Israel. You see when you misinterprete the bible? It leads to distruction. The Bible tells us that we are in war with Satan and the Catholic Church took it literally and started the crusades. Jesus predicted this in John 16:2. The Catholic Church persecuted people, who thought they were heretics, who tried to spread the REAL truth. The Catholic Church had no bible before the Reformation.

  • @777Discipleship777, you are partly correct as far as Revelations. BUT the Woman is ALSO MARY. You do not know how to interpret the Bible because you do not have the Church which is the Body of Christ.

As far as the rest of your comment, you are incorrect.

    Have a good day.

  • @777Discipleship777 What!! who do you think compiled the books of the Bible so you may have one? The Catholic Church did.

  • @1Hope4All Understood but John 8:58 states...Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. This clearly states that even before Mary was born Jesus Christ is. Jesus is the Alpha and Omega. Jesus then mary, not Mary then Jesus. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. There is no median needed for our Lord Jesus to hear our prayers.

  • @rev0lutionary1, yes, what about it? Jesus was here from the beginning as it says in St. John's Gospel. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God..." What about it?

Mary still gave birth to God the Son. She is still the mother of GOD THE SON. She is His MOTHER, NOT His Creator!!!

  • @1Hope4All You never "said" that Mary is a Goddess, however it is implied when you pray to her. When you pray to her is she not a Goddess? I mean I don't pray to my neighbour or the guy at 7-11. She is the Mother of Jesus definately. I actually don't care what Mary would think anyway as Jesus is the way...only through him! Stop your idol worship! Repent!

  • @BrianMason1000, that must mean you have no idea what "pray to' actually means. When I "pray to" Mary, that means I am asking her to pray for me, that's all. The words "PRAY TO" do NOT mean "to worship" so do not say I am making Mary a goddess. She does not like that. She told us, "Listen to Him." I do not worship idols!!! I only worship GOD the FATHER, SON & HOLY SPIRIT!!

  • @1Hope4All Do you believe as most True Catholics that there was a Bodily Assumption of Mary? I will address assumptions of my ignorance after you answer this question?

  • @BrianMason1000, a big fat YES!

  • @BrianMason1000 The Assumption was the first of the promise of God makes all his children. The bodies of the saints will join their souls, at the Second Coming, for eternity. They will all be perfect, as if no evil or sin had ever touched them.

Christ is God and ascended to Heaven by His own power. Only God could have done that. Mary is not God, but was assumed, by God, into Heaven, body and soul, because of her perfecton. Elijah had a similiar experience. Remember?

  • @BrianMason1000 Do you know what the deifinition of pray is? Prayer is *petition*, not worship. Worship is reserved for God, Almighty, alone.

Have you ever read Shakespeare? In many of his plays, it's frequently said: "I pray thee...". The character is petitioning another to do them a favor.

Worship and prayer are not synonomous.

  • @777Discipleship777, before you comment again, why don't you actually watch and LISTEN to the WHOLE video? Please.

  • Beautiful Video ...! God Bless you, sweet sister. Pray for me too!

  • Beautiful ! Mary, Queen of the Holy Angels pray for us.

    (\O/)

    -/_\-

  • I respect Mary, but how can she hear your prayers and answer them, or how can she pray for you. I understand that Christ can, because He is risen. He is alive today. Mary is not alive yet.

  • @rachel4779, WHAT?! Mary is ALIVE in Heaven with her Son Jesus Christ !!! How can she hear our prayers? If you ask such a question, then you are underestimating our own God!!! Mary is His mother!! So don't you think that God is much capable of allowing for Mary to hear our prayers since she is His mother and Queen of Heaven & Earth? Mary has a crown on her head and the moon under her feet. That says that Mary has a body with a head and feet. She is alive!!!

  • @1Hope4All To tell you the truth. I believe Mary is sleeping in her grave. Awaiting her resurrection from the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • @rachel4779, Revelations 11: 19 - 12:1

  • @rachel4779, "Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail. And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars."

But you will not see what I see in those verses because you lack the gift of faith.

  • it is really very hard to explain the things about mary to many protestant people because they're ignorant. they have never been baptised of holy water since they were born so have never been touched of holy spirit. they have never given a grace of wisdom to understand the true teaching about jesus and the important of role of the mother of god, for the sinners. They claiming they are chirstian, but the truth, No, they have never been baptised of holy water in the name of god,(the holy trinity)

  • May God bless you unceasingly <3

Thank you for posting this video, it brings hope to all people.

Those who do not understand why we pray to Mary, ask yourselves this, do you ask a friend to pray for you when you are sick? Or do you ever say "I will pray for you"?

How much greater is it when our Mother Mary prays for us!

She is in the Kingdom of Heaven and she is our Mother and she is the Queen of Heaven and of Purgatory.

I pray that you will do some research from Catholic sites on this <3

  • So, what you're saying is that Jesus won't listen to us, only to Mary???

  • @Asuraith, did you read that anywhere in any of these comments that Jesus only listens to Mary? Did you hear it in the video that Jesus ONLY listens to Mary?? No you did not because that is not true. But with Mary being pure without sin, she is righteous in God's eyes and God listens to the righteous. You can ask any Saint in Heaven to pray for you to Jesus. You can also pray to Jesus of course. Please see James 5:16 in the Bible.

  • @1Hope4All Can you give me specific books, chapters and verses in context that specifically state that Mary was without sin - or after giving birth to Jesus - still a virgin, not ever knowing her husband, not having any other children, or blessed above - not only blessed among - other women of the time?

When the statement is made of prayer TO someone, can you not see how that may be mistaken as a form of worship as when we pray TO Jesus, or we pray TO God or we pray TO the Holy Spirit?

  • @Stinger2578 Gabriel referred to Mary as "full of grace" (Luke 1:28) BEFORE the incarnation took place. One cannot be full of grace and have ANY sin (Romans 6:14). And that fact could only mean that Mary did not have the stain of any sin, even original sin, on her soul. Mary was not "Full of Grace" because she had Jesus inside of her; rather, she was chosen to be the mother of Jesus because she was full of grace already.

  • @Stinger2578 For the record, the Blessed Virgin Mary was not the first woman to be created immaculately. That honor would go to Eve. Mary, on the other hand, by saying yes to the good angel Gabriel, brought forth Jesus from her body, which allowed salvation to enter the world. In other words, God redeemed the world through an immaculately conceived virgin (Mary) without sin in order to overcome the condemnation of the world through an immaculately created virgin (Eve) who did sin.

  • @Stinger2578 Paul calls Jesus the new Adam in 1 Corinthians 15:45, which would make Mary the new Eve. Just as Adam and Eve were created without sin and failed their test, just so, Jesus and Mary were created without sin and passed their test.

Although this dogma was officially declared by the Church in 1854 AD, it was believed by the early Church fathers early on, as well as by the first protestant, Martin Luther.

  • @Stinger2578 Here are some excellent scripture quotes for you to meditate on concerning the holiness and purity of our Mother Mary (John 19:27, Revelation 12:17):

    Matthew 12:33: "Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree bad, and its fruit bad; for the tree is known by its fruit Luke 6:43:"For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit;

1 Corinthians 6:17: But he who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with him

  • I have only one thing to say: To hate the Blessed Mother is a feeling that can only be instigated by Lucifer. What justifiable reason should anyone who calls he or herself christian have to say evil things of the mother of the one they call their savior. They wouldn't like evil things said about their moms whom they love ... so I think they should ask themselves if they trully love Jesus as they say. We don't have to explain to anyone why we pray through her!

  • @mcnzefili Hey, you seem like a nice person, so I'll have a constructive argument with you. I know, lucky you. :P

Now, I have not met anyone who hates Mary, and I myself find that asking her to pray for you is very weird.(No offence. :) ) But Mary is not Jesus's mother... well, at least not any more that is. Just like my mother will no longer be my 'Mother' but a sister when I reach heaven. I know that God does not hold Mary higher then any of us. To Him, we're all his favorite. :)

  • @Asuraith, of course Mary is Jesus' mother. Did your mother stop being your mother once you were born? Mary is in Heaven, Soul AND Body and she will always remain the Mother of Jesus and Queen of Heaven.

  • 3:19, I don't understand, Gabriel never said Mary is" full of grace". Where in the original Greek does it say that? I thought Gabriel said Mary is "favored by God", aren't those two completely different things? I don't really understand, please explain this.

  • @YouHaveBeauty, The original Greek is not actually the language in the first place. It was just written in the Bible that way. I know the Greek word; but first let me ask you, do you know Koine Greek? Because if you think there is no "full of grace" in the original Greek, then you do NOT know Koine Greek. So tell me first if you do know Greek and I mean Koine Greek. Then I'll get back to you with that word which is translated into the English, "full of grace."

  • @1Hope4All I want to explore and research the different sects. Exploring Catholicism I learned important parts of it revolve around Mary being "full of grace". I am undecided in what sect I belong to. So I'm not some Protestant trying to attack you. And I'm not some amazing expert in Koine Greek and the tenses or grammer and history behind every single word. The crucial word "Kecharitomene" keeps appearing everywhere in people's views about Mary and I am being told it means favored by God.

  • @YouHaveBeauty, to be "favored by God" is TO BE GRACED by God. The original word "charitoó" χαριτόω means to make graceful or to be endowed with grace. That word comes from χάρισμα which is translated charisma. It means a gift of grace, an undeserved favor. So you see, unless you dig even deeper than what you were told, you will never know the true FULL meaning. You said you were being told. Don't you want to dig deep for yourself instead of "being told" something and taking their word for it?

  • @1Hope4All But just to let you know, even though I am not a Protestant, I have distrust in believing Mary is a mediator to God. Even though she can ask and tell requests to God as biblical mentioned in this video, I still do not understand how Mary is asking us that she is available as a mediator. And people say that it is because she is sinless from being "full of grace."

  • @YouHaveBeauty, she is a "mediator" just as you and I are. We are not Mediators directly to God the Father. We are mediators to Jesus Christ who is our ONE and ONLY mediator to God the Father. As far as Mary being the BEST mediator, it IS because she is full of grace. Please read James 5:16.

  • @1Hope4All You have helped me a great deal! And yes, I want to dig deeper! That would be truly wonderful for my soul and for understanding my faith in following Jesus more. Thank you so much answering my questions about Mary. I am happy that I came across this video. In the future, I hope to ask more questions if I'm confused if that's okay because you seem like a sincere and trustworthy person in helping others follow God. So THANKS SO MUCH AGAIN!!!

  • @YouHaveBeauty, I'm glad to have helped. If you have any questions on any of my videos feel free to post so long as you don't get offensive. :)

If you have a question on purgatory, feel free to post it on my video about souls in purgatory.

  • @1Hope4All Some strong Catholics I've seen take more time in devotion in praying to Mary more than they do to Jesus. Even though I haven't decided my sect, you should understand probably from defending the Catholic doctrines on how people can have the idea on why it looks like idolatry.

  • @YouHaveBeauty, first and foremost, the Catholic Church/Faith is NOT a "sect." And you do not choose your "sect" like you choose a pair of shoes. Jesus Christ came to us as a babe born in a manger to first establish His Kingdom which is HIS CHURCH. Then of course to die for our sins. We are not to choose which "sect" we want. We should belong to the Church or Faith which Jesus established here on Earth for us to be near Him. He is here in the Catholic Church as our FOOD in the Eucharist.

  • @YouHaveBeauty, circumcision in the old testament is one of the prefigurements of baptism in the NT. It was done first to adult men but then after that all babies born to those men who were circumcised were also circumcised Col 2:11-12. Please read Mt 19:13-14; Lk 18:15-16; and many others.

Parents are witnesses of faith for their infants. They are to bring up those infants in the faith. And when those infants grow to understanding, they are Confirmed and speak for their own faith.

  • @YouHaveBeauty, Acts 16:30-34, the whole household was baptized. Chances are there were infants and children in many of those households.

There was a centurion who wanted his servant healed. Jesus wanted to go to his house but the centurion told Jesus that he was not worthy to have Him come under his roof. Then the centurion said to Jesus, "say the word and my servant shall be healed" and Jesus was amazed at his faith and therefore healed his servant. Parents are like the centurion for babies

  • @YouHaveBeauty, we think of Mary as the neck that connects the head and the body; the "head" being Jesus of course and the "body" of members being us. So it's okay to have a devotion to Mary. Jesus would never refuse you because you love His own mother. Would you refuse someone if they loved your mother?

  • @YouHaveBeauty Catholics believe that saints in Heaven, and especially the Blessed Virgin Mary, are still active in their roles to assist mankind in spiritual warfare. We know from James 5:16 that the prayers of the righteous are powerful. In Revelation 5:8, it says that 24 elders in heaven present our petitions to God in the form of incense, which means that there are intermediaries in heaven who hear and present our prayers to God.

  • Everyone..... Listen to the Litany of Saints

  • Do you guys also pray to Jesus alongside asking Mary to pray for Jesus. If not, that seems to strengthen the bond between Mary and Jesus, but it leaves you out. I'm very curious about this. It's very new to me.

  • @CaramelCleo we dont ask Mary to pray for Jesus.. Jesus is God.. he doesn't need our prayers. We ask Mary to pray FOR us TO Jesus. She is the Queen of Heaven, the Queen Mother of the King, and the greatest advocate of the people to Christ, who is our advocate to the Father.

  • SO SHANANA U R A BODY WITHOUT A HEAD. BECAUSE U SAID U DON'T NEED THE NECK! SO U R A DEAD BODY

  • wow, am i glad i broke free from protestantism, i finally have a mother

  • @secondbible And, isnt it interesting that there are thousands of protestant churches, that have all sorts of views on Christianity, but they all have one thing in common.. They all refuse Mary as Queen.. Ironic, that the churches that turn their back on the RCC also happen to agree with Lucifer in their dislike for Mary. Haterz gonna hate.

  • Long Live The Holy Catholic Church! The True Christian And Apostolic Church Of Christ! The Most Powerful And Influential Of All Faith! God Bless The Pope! Long Live Vatican! To The Roman Pontiff! Salute! yeah! CATHOLIC MEANS UNIVERSAL UNIVERSAL MEANS CATHOLIC :) GLORY BE TO THE FATHER TO THE SON AND TO THE HOLY SPIRIT AS IT WAS IN THE BEGINNING IS NOW AND EVER SHALL BE WORLD WITHOUT END AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
  • Brothers and sisters, do not fall for the deception. Praying to Mary is against the Scripture!! What you are practicing is man-made tradition and doctrine, but nothing that is backed up by the Holy Bible. The Scripture says it's okay to pray FOR each other, but Catholics twist this around to say it's proof that it's alright to pray to Mary and Saints in heaven. This is not what the Scripture says! It says we should pray FOR each other, not TO each other. We should only pray TO Jesus!!

  • @jamezbond78, Praying to Mary means asking her to pray FOR us. You are confusing what "pray TO" really means. "Pray to" does NOT mean "to worship!!" It only means to request something. Look up PRAY in the dictionary. Many people have put a "new meaning" to the word "pray" or tto the phrase "pray to" but those people are WRONG!

    Pray: transitive and intransitive verb;

    address earnest request to somebody:

to ask somebody FOR something, especially earnestly or with passion.

  • @jamezbond78, when we pray TO Mary we are merely asking her to pray FOR us!!! Get that already PLEASE! I'm tired of repeating the same ol' thing to people who do not understand!!!

I will ask Mary to pray FOR YOU!!!

    Peace & Love in Christ

    Sandra

  • @1Hope4All Exactly! they are the ones twisting words around!

  • @jamezbond78 - You stop gving your valuable advice. Leave the catholics to the way they want to worship JESUS. Finally you and we (Catholics) do worship the same Omnipotent GOD. We are aware of our worship to the right God, JESUS and the Holy Spirit. It is only you protestants do not accept Mary and we catholics accept Mary as our Mother.

  • @jamezbond78

By your statement it is clear that you have been poisoned by demonic doctrines. Bow down before the Mother of the Lord and ask for forgiveness for Christ does not hear the prays of heretics until they repent from there demonic doctrines that leads many through the wide gate to destruction. Humble yourself before the Glory of Christ arrives and finds your out of oil, what a shame that will be for you and those who follow and agree with you.

  • @jamezbond78 this lady just quoted scripture and you say no scripture? yikes u r hard headed

  • @jamezbond78

You can no problems asking your local pastor to pray for you; but the Mother of God cannot pray for you..ironic !

  • @jamezbond78 Hey man, everyone believes differently when it comes to faith. You want to know what also isn't in the scriptures, going to church on Sunday, which wasn't biblically changed. Also the Trinity, but all Christians follow these examples. We all have one focus, that's God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit. It doesn't matter how you find him, as long as you find him. Christians need to start realizing that and being less judgmental.

  • @jamezbond78 Ah, well my dear friend, I think you are following all that is said in the Bible exactly... Is it? wow... The Holiest Man you are in the earth... Won't you respect your Mother... won't you ask anything to your mother to recommend something to your father. If you don't believe just leave it but don't propagate as though something is wrong because it is not good for you....

  • I don't need Mary to ask Jesus anything...Because Jesus hears all my prayers. Besides that, Mary can't hear a word of anyone. She isn't God, and only God can hear everyone at all times..For He is omnipresent..Mary isn't.

  • @shanana000, ALL Graces come from Jesus of course, but they go through Mary! Jesus is the "head" and Mary is the "neck" you could say. Everything comes from the through the neck to the body! Without Mary we would not have graces just as without Mary's "Yes" to God Jesus would not have come to us.

Mary CAN hear us only because God allows for His mother to hear our prayer requests. Mary is His mother. Please watch & listen to this video again with an open heart and an open mind. God bless you.

  • @shanana000 (ETA) "Everything comes from the "Head" (Jesus) through the "neck" (Mary) to the body!"

  • @shanana000 Dear Child! In the bible you can find the words of The Archangel Gabriel Hail Mary Full OF Grace, In the wedding in Cana it is because of our Holy Mother Jesus manifested his first miracle through her intercession

Prepare your soul for what is coming, The illumination of conscious is coming soon

  • @shanana000 Jesus went to Mary, Catholics imitate Jesus

  • Why do Catholics pray to Mary when she was just a very good person. Even Mary called God her Saviour. Catholics can go straight to Jesus because He was the one who died and rose from the grave so that all that call upon HIs name and repent of their sins shall be saved. He is our advocate to the Father. I'm not talking about the pope he is not our Father he is a human being and he sins also.

  • @1954phyllis, Mary's Savior is also Jesus Christ. But God saved her BEFORE she fell. We were saved AFTER we fell.

Praying to Mary simply means that we ask her to pray for us. I'm sure you ask other people to pray for you right? Of course. In James 5:16 it says that the prayer of the righteous availeth much. Well Mary is righteous and her prayers are more powerful than mine. Jesus will not refuse her. Please listen to the video again with an open mind and heart.

    God bless you. :)

    Sandra

  • @1Hope4All Listen you dont have to pray to Mary when you can go straight to Jesus. Catholics shouldnt be worshipping Mary because she is not their Saviour. Plus she is no longer a virgin neither should she be worshipped. You have as much right to pray to Jesus as Mary did.

  • @1954phyllis, CATHOLICS DO NOT WORSHIP MARY!!! We pray to Mary to ask her to pray for us. We Catholics also pray to God the Father, God the Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ and we also pray to the Holy Spirit!!

Mary is still a Virgin. The Virgin birth of Jesus Christ is believed by many Protestants. Please stop replying if you're not going to watch the video again with an open heart and mind.

    God bless you.

    Sandra

  • @1954phyllis You can go straight to Jesus in prayer, and you should. God bless you for doing that. But James also says in James 5: 16 that the “prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects”. No one on earth can be as righteous as anyone in heaven, and the Blessed Virgin Mary is certainly in heaven. Also keep in mind that our prayers are presented to God by the saints and angels in the form of incense (Revelation 5:8 and 8:3).

  • Hail Mary,

    Full of Grace

    The LORD is with Thee

    Blessed art Thou among women

and Blessed is the Fruit of Thy Womb, Jesus

    Holy Mary, Mother of God,

Pray for us sinners now and in the hour of our death.

    Amen.

  • So why does it say "GOD is Our Mother" on the Vatican Website? Type in GOD is our Mother Vatican on Google and you will find the article.

  • @Cherubaby, God our FATHER! Mary is our Mother. God's Church is considered MOTHER CHURCH!

  • Mary is NOT my mother, never was and never will be. She is my SISTER in Christ just like every other Christian woman. Gosh I wonder why Catholics hate to hear this Truth?

  • @Cherubaby, Jesus gave Mary to us as our Mother when He was dying on the Cross. He told John the beloved disciple, "Behold your Mother."

If you consider Jesus your brother, and Mary is the mother of Jesus, then Mary is also your mother.

  • Catholic 4ever! Love for Jesus and Mary 4ever...! Pro Life 4ever! Catholic 4ever!

  • No, we do not pray to them. We ask them (Mary or the Saints) for their intercession on their part to pray for us. It is as if we ask a friend to pray for us - to intercede for us in prayer.

  • @VictoriasRoses, YES WE DO PRAY TO MARY & THE SAINTS!!

Everyone has to realize what "Pray TO" truly means. It does not mean "to worship." When we "PRAY TO" Mary it just means we ask her to pray FOR us. Please do not make this more complicated than it really is. Simply put, "pray to" means to ask or request something of someone.

    Peace & Love in Christ.

    Sandy

  • @1Hope4All I am not trying to make it complicated at all. I was just stating what my Priest taught me in RCIA. Thank you for your video. I love Donna! God Bless.

  • @VictoriasRoses, ah a Priest in RCIA, well that explains it. Just because he's a priest does not mean he's right. And some RCIA classes now-a-days can be very liberal. You need to go to a different church for your RCIA classes.

  • @1Hope4All Sandy why do you feel that it is necessary to pray to Mary and the saints. You can go straight to Jesus.

  • @1954phyllis, I pray to Mary and the Saints because they are already in Heaven and their prayers for me are more powerful than my own prayers.

And of course I pray to Jesus Christ!!

    God bless you. †

    Sandra

  • I am Catholic and I believe in Mary's intercession but I wouldn't say that we pray to Mary and I wish other Catholics would stop putting it that way. We ask Mary to pray for us and that is the full extent of it. When a protestant says "you Catholics pray to Mary" your answer should be NO we DON'T pray to Mary we ask Mary to pray for us the same way that we ask others to pray for us on earth. We don't pray to saints either, we just simply ask them to pray for us.

  • @sarahmcc28, my answer to Protestants is YES! WE Pray TO Mary!! Your understanding of "Pray To" is incorrect. All "pray TO" means is that we ask Mary to pray for us.

You are thinking the way Protestants think. "Pray To" does NOT mean "to worship" so you are incorrect when you say we do not pray TO Mary. YES WE DO!

  • @sarahmcc28, and YES, we also pray TO Saints!
