I made my own naruto character! she has something like kuubi but its a tiger instead!=D IT ROCKS! XD

That's nice. I did too, but she ended up as a Mary Sue so I'm going to remake her. Just make sure your character doesn't end up a Mary Sue (for those who don't know, a Mary Sue is a character that is perfect and has everything. (google it) A male Mary Sue is a Gary Stu.)

i found on a web site that kyuubi hold some respect for naruto, but i don't know if that means he 'cares' for him per se

i think i read it or it was on an episode but kyuubi said something like "you stood up to me, i like that" or something, indicating that he respects naruto because he stood up to kyuubi. he doesn't exactaly "care" about naruto, but he has to keep him alive or he'll die, but if naruto releases him it could destroy naruto (the four-tails-fox chakra is an example).

I doubt it cares for him. It's just a matter of survival. If Naruto dies most likely he will be banished to another realm. More so the Kyuubi is always just trying to get Naruto to fully release him thus allowing him to completely control Naruto.
