    Many remember Orwell for the usual Big Brother part... they forget (or don't know) that much of 1984 was about hating "them" groups.

  • Most also forget that a big part of 1984 was about the necessity of continuous war to keep production going and to keep people in line. That aspect, to me, is one of the most terrifying, and many powers of today fit that description.
