This show was great in it's day, a real "feel good" show. Even though I am a strict 2nd Amendment advocate and I carry on a daily basis, I agree with this PSA! This is NOT againts adults and responsibly licensed concealed carry individuals. This is taking aim at the 6-18 year old individuals that might bring a weapon into the system system. This was one of the best PSA's I've seen and that was due to the fact that they were themselves and not taking the "Brady bunch" angle, like most have.

We share the same culture/history/border so things aren't all that different other than laws.

If THAT message was more clear that then I wouldn't have an issue with it. The problem I have is the wording, "...How many of you know someone who carries a gun?"... I carry a gun everywhere and I dont want my kids friends calling the cops on me. I am not breaking the law. "If you know someone is carrying or selling a gun, tell someone." I have sold guns before, because it is legal. They need to clarify more for kids.

By proving your point, you've proven his. Guns can be used for crime and killing, BUT they can also save lives. Can you imagine police and soldiers without guns? That would be kinda useless. Yes, guns are used in crimes thousands of times, but they are also used in defense of live countless times.

I don't mean to get political here but yeah the term Squash it is kind of cheesy but the part that got me in the PSA is when they said we should stop these things from happening and I can't help thinking back to the Columbine and Virginia Tech shootings. I mean people knew and also suspected what the perpretators were doing but yet these two tragedies weren't acted upon until it was finally too late.
