  • After many years I finally found it, my favorite band.

  • kids.... as u were not even a cell of protein, i had the chance to watch these guys on stage in Vienna.... almost 20 years ago.. since this night, stopped to listen to any kinda metal... the metal history is fullended!!! since this night, only rachmaninow gives me a taste....sleep good boys and girls..

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • This is, definitely, the soundtrack of the end of the world.

  • Neurosis and grunge both rock. Still, to compare grunge to Neurosis is like comparing a 2,000 pound mound of vomit to 1,000 acres of pure gold.

  • Who disliked this? Why? How? The crescendo did not give you enough release? The piano intro did not break your heart? The sound did not envelope you? This is music for black holes and dying suns. If you enjoy music, that is welcomed, but how could you not listen to this and hear your soul break?

  • This is the kind of song whom makes a direct connection between your ears and your soul. It can changes you forever !

  • @6:11 this song turns into pure magic

  • their best track for sure

  • never heard this genre, but sounds nice

  • This is one of the greatest songs of all time. Neurosis is one of the greatest bands of all time. Kneel down...

  • sweet

  • This is such an odd sound.

  • simply amazing. this band is a constant reminder that simplicity can create very atmospheric music and is not to be taken for granted. its beautiful. all of their music sends a message to be kept at heart. it takes a special kind of person to see that.

  • Neurosis is still badass

  • @bing0ification and always will be

  • One of the most heart-gripping songs I have ever heard in my life. Neurosis are one innovative band. I hope they release something soon. It's been what, three years since "Given to the Rising"?

  • These guys are fucking talented.

  • @TheLowArtGloominati

so fucking true! One of the most talented band this world has ever produced by a long shot!!

  • I love Neurosis simply because their music embodies the emotions of not being safe and anxiety which lives up to the dictionary meaning of the word Neurosis. Few people may understand the genius of this band.

  • @ArmchairMessiah Indeed. I feel like overwhelmed by the feelings which this part ofthe song brings into my soul.

  • One of the best songs off one of the best albums of all time. Truly phenomenal.

  • Yeah I concur with that, puffing a fat chunk of hash and listening to this track by the light of the moon is awesome.

  • I agree with smoking and listening to these guys, nothing like it when you've smoke durself into a trance..

  • pile the wood, light the tourch, send me to the gods

  • beautiful

  • Neurosis are overall awesome :)

  • Nothing like smoking a bowl and listening to some neurosis. I find something different everytime

  • Hahaha some young "Grunge" fan told me Neurosis is one dementional. Yet he loves Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden....

  • @ToolOfTrade "one dimensional" - dude that guy could not have much clue!

Tell him to turn off all light in his room, put this record on in his headset and absorb.

  • @ToolOfTrade Which aren't bad bands, by the way.

  • @ToolOfTrade In what fuckin universe is Soundgarden 1d? Neurosis is drugged out trippy music...if you're not looped out on x or stoned to the drone, it just sounds like a bunch of random noise. And I'm not hating on Neurosis...it is what it is, but it ain't for everyone.

  • @roseblackcadillac believe me, I've listened to Neurosis countless times in a fucked up tripped out state before. The journey is amazing I might add.

  • @ToolOfTrade I imagine it is.

  • @roseblackcadillac I'm not drunk, and I love these guys!

  • @roseblackcadillac I love listening to neurosis sober. When i get stoned, i can't focus on music, and i still haven't gotten the balls the try acid or shrooms. besides i think this music would freak you the fuck out on acid, but who knows right?

  • @ToolOfTrade Soundgarden kicks ass! But so does Neurosis.

  • @ToolOfTrade I see no connection.

  • @ToolOfTrade dude soundgarden has a badass singer. don't be such a prick.

  • @ToolOfTrade

I love Pearl Jam and Soundgarden too. Of course, the difference is, I love Neurosis too.

  • @ToolOfTrade one DIMENSIONAL I think he meant...

  • @ToolOfTrade neurosis are more one dimensional than both pearl jam and soundgarden, and almost anyone who listens to music other than metal would agree with that... lrn2music

  • lol, i have a friend that plays Rachmaninov in competitions (concours) for classical piano. He is still laughing with your stupid comment. He is no metal fan at all, but he said "mmm, interesting" when i let him listen to a couple of Neurosis songs. Why? Because of the many complex layers Neurosis build in their songs, "not bad for contemporary music" he said. You got no clue what you are talking about. Come back when you're adult, and maybe understand this kind of music.

  • was meant for ToolofTrade. BTW, a review described Neurosis as music for Tool fans with a brain :-)

  • @neurotic4ever no, your major stumblin block is trustin the opinion of your "classically trained" friend over my commoner ears lol im perfectly adult and i like neurosis but the general sound they go for is relatively similar per song (it has the same guitar tone, the same intended atmosphere, and the same emotional themes and soundscapes explored). pearl jam and soundgarden (by contrast) explore wildly different genres and styles. i enjoy neurosis but they are a one trick pony, suck it :P

  • @Doogypoog lol, Neurosis a one trick pony ;-) 1-dimensional music cant give my brain and soul a transcendental spiritual 1,000 dimension experience like Neurosis does, and it changes your life. I guess you are not able to hear or experience it. Dont worry, it's just music and plenty around for every1. I eat it all as long as the music is made from the heart : sorry biebers, spears and gagas of this world. I dont eat soup from a tin when i can buy fresh genuine vegetables.

  • @neurotic4ever if you become any more pretentious you might literally disappear up your own arse, just lettin ya know mate

  • @Doogypoog Nope, he's not being pretentious, just truthful. Sorry. Neurosis isn't for everyone, and they are certainly NOT a one-trick pony.

  • @ToolOfTrade The kid obviously has no clue about this kind of skull shatteringly atmospheric music. However, early soungarden stuff is actually pretty good.

  • This is what perfection sounds like.

Anyhow, I wonder why this has substantially fewer views than the other mp3 audio version on here, when this is more or less the full song, and the other version doesnt have the last bit of the song (i.e. the best part)

  • LIES! The intro is the best part! Err... no wait, the ending is the b... Aww hell, 00:00-10:56 is the best part. :)

  • cały utwór rewelacja, ale 6:11 - 9:50 to jest kwintesencja potęgi, w końcowym odcinku fajnie słychac perkusję po prostu moc

A retarded achievement, but somewhat amusing to me in this hungover state.

Silver's probably the only album I'd give five stars to.

  • If you're a director, I don't think the 11-minute ceiling affects you.

I'm looking for Enclosure in Flames from this album, since the version smoki666 uploaded is doubled over. Silver was amazing, but it would be even better with the correct ending.

  • magnum fucking opus

  • True

  • AvEsome!!! Fucking Great!
