I do that all the time. The trick to using peices with supercooled water is to make a multi chambered water peice with little water in each chamber, you can acheive full cooldown in about 15 un-disturbed minutes depending on your freezers temp.

I think that "Slushy" (assuming were going to use it as a scientific definition here?) more or less means solid particles mixed with semi solid and non solid particles. (ya know, the drink you get at 7-11??)......However, Gelatinous' technical defenition is "1 : resembling gelatin or jelly"......wich is supercooled water, if supercooled water was "Slushy" it would then not be supercooled water any longer and it would be Ice and Water.
