  • this is truely heavenly like the cherubs... i loooove baroque & cclscl muuuusic though im just a teen... but i have never met those who shatre this interset :(

  • @ttomace - I am right here.

  • @forgottenbooks ... ur playin it 4 grd5 exam??

  • @ttomace I'm seventeen and absolutely love this music. I've also dealt with the fact that classical music is a dying art. It is sad but don't be discouraged as there is someone almost always out there who enjoys the same interests as you. Just remember, don't let anyone influence your opinion and always live for yourself and for who you are.

  • i have to do this for my grade five exam this yeah. wooo

  • @LydiaLuvsMJ Isn't it a beautiful piece?

  • Enjoyed playing this piece, for exam. Mark was OK but I had an "off-day" which was disappointing. Thanks for the upload, very helpful for the musical knowledge or the piece and articulation.

    Beautiful playing!

  • @Jazzyjayjazzynator I am playing this for my exam too (in 3 weeks OMG!!!) I just can't get the feel of it though.

In the exam book it is much slower, less ornaments.

  • @themagNetwork All the best for your exam! Yes, I agree with you. There's definitely less ornaments. The advice from my examiner was to take it slower and ensure that the articulation of slurs and staccato notes was consistent.

  • what picture is it, and who of?

  • It's Marie-Antoinette with her children.

  • ah right, she was beheaded wasn't she

  • indeed, after 8 months of her husband Louis XVI. Her son, Louis-Joseph de France, standing next to her ( next to the cradle) on the peinting, died before her while she was in prison, and her other son, Louis-Charles de France, died 2 years after his mother at the age of 10 in prison! the cradle is empty because her daughter Marie-Sophie-Béatrice died at the age of 8 months, and Marie-Antoinette asked to remouve her from the tableau.

  • I am learning this piece for my grade 5 piano exam! It's so hard...but I play it about 10X slower!

  • :D Let us hear or even see your interpretation. and what about the exam?

  • Me too! In fact, I played it and recently passed, so it can be done!

  • That is one sad painting.

  • Sad?!

  • Well, to me they are still so happy in the painting, little knowing of what's to become of them in a few years time.

  • That is a great recording!

  • Hermosa pieza de clavecin, gracias por compartir el video.
