I made that move man. Thanks. My MV 8800 arrived late saturday 5/9/09. Made a quick 2 bar loop beat that night!! Haven't tried sampling yet, but will get at it this week. Just ordered ram memory and new hard drive for upgrading purposes.
Thanks. I upgraded the ram. Didn't upgrade the hard drive yet cuz I need to check with another MV 8800 user to make sure I have all the contents(visually see them) and properly do it before I take that step. I did buy mine off Ebay and it seems to be working okay. I will be posting videos soon with the MV 8800 and my other arsenal providing that I don't have a roadblock of uploading them..some kind of failure in the uploading video process. That's why it's been a long time since anything posted.
I feel you on this one. I am torn between buying the MV8800 now and maxing it out immediately with Ram and Hard drive upgrade or wait until a new MV is released? I'd been through this before in a way with the Fantom X(maxing it out with 4 SRX chip cards)) before it was discontinued and the Fantom G came out. I'm happy with the Fantom X as I dont need the Fantom G. But this MV product has got me going since it can do it all without a PC.

Thanks dude!...Yea that room was our utility/storage room..until I threw all that crap in the attic. Now I have my own little hole in the house. I love the MV, it is real easy to learn, no timing issues and it chops perfect...stock sounds are ok...I imported all my sounds into it...when you get one make sure you get the RAM upgrade!

@thedayuvthedead...What up...The Mv has phono inputs (L,R). Just plug the audio cables from the turntable into the mv.
