if mayweather fought Fernando Vergus he would beat him up like he beat Arturo Gatti. Vargus is slow,has very poor defense cant even see the punches coming but has a hard jaw.

@RobotechMacrossGame Watch his lightweight days and early welterweight days. He was untouchable, nobody could even come close to getting the best of him. And his offense really resembled Ray Robinson's.

@agt462 That's very true but at the time of my post, Shane showed he was still in very good form, even at 37. However, when you're in your mid/late 30's, you can "lose it" at any time, especially when you fight in the lower weight classes. Shane had to wait over 15 months to fight again after obliterating Margarito. It's a shame he couldn't get another big fight in '09. AGE catches up with every fighter, especially the guys who rely on speed, quickness, and supreme athleticism. Just ask Roy.....
