  • bye Trish.

  • ❤ it.

  • Ah! OK, that makes sense now, thanks!

  • OH GOD, YES. I finally found this song! I've been looking for it since I first heard it while wandering around in Universal Studios in 2008.

My journey is over and my ears are in heaven once again. <3

  • @TheRocketVoltage explain. what was the context of hearing it there? just curious.

  • @kikkiokioli I have an odd habit of remembering the most minute of details. :9

  • @TheRocketVoltage I meant, how did you hear it there... was it being played as part of some tour of the Studios? Or do they have some piped in music service while walking around, like you find in different retail stores? Or... what?? I've never been there.

  • @kikkiokioli Oh! No, they have streets dedicated to parts of Europe in different time periods. I walked down the LittleBritain street which is also the set for the Austin Powers movies and the soundtrack played. I didn't realize it was the soundtrack until I heard "Soul Bossa Nova" playing which is Austin's theme song.

You'd think it'd be easy for me to find this song, but the problem was this song was on the very first movie soundtrack. I thought The Spy Who Shagged me was the first movie. xD

  • this video is also very close to what I saw in my head when i first heard the song. yes.

  • this was the only song I really knew by them, and I always loved it. R.I.P.

  • Supported Broadcast from their inception, bought 2 copies of their Debut Book Lovers E.P back in 1996

  • what album is this song in?

  • hello Karl Taul, my name is fidel dorian, and i really looove your video, is there any chance for us to make a video with you of a song of my band, it is called The movin' Circles, and the song Good old days.

here you can hear it, hope to find some answer of you,

    Fidel Dorian

  • @elfidear hi! i listened the The Movin' Circles on myspace..sounds like The Strokes and other cool stuff... and so i like it! but with the video we have a slight problem. i live in estonia, which is almost on the other side of the world from argentina.. or what do you think? karl

  • @karltaul hi karl! quick response! yeah, i'm aware of that little problem of distance, we were talking with the guys of the band tonight, and the idea is you to have a free interpretation of the song, that's the idea. They don't want to appear on the video, unleast you decide that and we can send you some videos, photos and stuffs you need.

Other thing to do is the arrangement, for that i prefer to chat with you by mail at elfide_ar@hotmail.com.

Thanx for the response and we are in touch!

    fide

  • @elfidear i send you 2 mails to your myspace account, respond me at elfide_ar@hotmail.com

  • @karltaul not excatlly. listen to "united states of America" - psycehdelic from the 60's , sound quite similar

  • @karltaul maybe you guys could collaborate and find that a mix of argentinian and estonian influence yields the greatest music video ever created!

i don't know those two countries put together just seems very novel to me.

  • This brings me back to the Austin Powers days. I think it's a groovy song. :D

  • this song is a beautiful trip...

  • damn... before reading the coments, i was thinking this was the official videoclip!!!

    nice done!!! ;)

  • stereolab?

  • met these guys and hopefully going to see them in newcastle soon!!

  • @jakesanderson7 ugh, im jealous

  • Can't get enough of this mad stylish band.

  • Great Song. Wonderful!

  • Lines and lines

    Of the spines, colored everyone,

Down the aisles, along the titles where you are

Your eyes, read with your eyes

    Ahhh

Read the sign above the door

    It`s not for everyone

    Makes you feel, individual

Pages are one, but that you ignore

    Ahhh

  • @MurmurTw1ns <3

  • Read the sign above the door

    You`re on, like anyone

Down the aisles, along the titles where you are

Your eyes, read with your eyes

    Ahhh

Read the sign above the door,

    It`s not for everyone.

  • neat-o!

  • YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.

  • This song vaguely reminds me of The Doors, particularly Strange Days. Grrreat song, BTW!

  • sounded like space pop. Kind of like monocle

  • its a bit like

    Elephant's Memory...Old Man Willow

  • @skawashers wow they must be a heavy influence on broadcast, some of the sounds are almost identical

  • either that or they was blown away by the film MIDNIGHT COWBOY which the tune by Elephant's Memory...Old Man Willow was on the soundtrack As thats the first time i heard it when watching the film
