I have a 09 babystang, that V6 4.0 will get after it, dont let that V6 part fool you. Or you can just get a GT for 5,000 dollars more which isnt too much faster from what ive came across. The gas isnt too shabby either, i got mine for around 22 thou.

i already put money down for the 09 mustang, just need to pick it up, it has the basic shit since im not the richest guy and needed a car (military pay isnt glamorous), am i screwed for doing this or should i look forward to driving this baby? just note that its for just for getting around, not to race, basically something to drive since its my first car.

Well, not to say that you're screwed, but if you're pay isnt very good, perhaps an expensive car that guzzles gas like a demon isnt the best choice :x If its just for getting around, why not go with something smaller, like a Camry or Altima, or if you want to stay american, a Malibu or Taurus.

if you want to save costs then a mustang isnt the best choice...it IS an affordable racecar but if you just want something to get you from a to b than something with better gas mileage would be a better choice. (i get 28mpg on mine but i have a superchip)

Since when can you buy a V6 with a turbo on a Mustang from the factory, and I have never owned a turbo charged car that was more reliable than a N/A car. The guy asked me about the Mustangs that are available as of today, or now. Also have you ever owned a turbo charged car...I know for a fact it gets worse gas mileage than a stock Mustang GT expecially when turbo charging a V6.

Also you can run low grade gas in the V6& the GT, with the exception of the Shelby for obvious reasons. It all depends what you want, and if your concerned with gas mileage buy a Honda...lol.

Probalbly not but it might be as an option. Are you looking to buy a Mustang for performance, or economy? I can tell you the Mustang Gt will get maybe 2 to 4 miles less per gallon than the V6 as long as you keep your foot out of it. I have a 450HP T/A, and get better gas mileage than some V6s on the highway around town its a different story though I have a lead foot...lol. If I had the money I would definately get a Shelby GT500KR. A V6 phony pony is a waste of a Mustang in my opinion.

Anyone can make a car fast but it won't be a Shelby.Plus from the factory even at 80 grand this car is a good deal compared to others in this price range,or class. Put this in your garage 20 years and you'll be one wealthy man...lol.Put a new GTR in you garage for 20 years and you might get 1/2 of what you paid for it.

Ford is just coming out with special-edition Mustangs to keep the buzz up, now that the new Challenger and Camaro are here... No real muscle car would have a glass roof anyway, muscle cars are supposed to be stripped-down, with the emphasis on performance, but I guess nowadays everyone has to have their nav systems, leather seats & 8-speaker CD/MP3 players. People just buy these cars to stroke their ego. Cars like the VW GTI and Honda Civic Si are the true heirs to the muscle cars of the past.

I mean the stang has a big engine itself but it doesn't eat as much gas as the camaro is going to. If I were personally going to buy one Ill go with the mustang... The Camaro will have a 3.6L V-6 and a 6.0 L V8. And a larger engine doesn't mean worse mileage. A 1992 Camaro with a 5.0L V8 got up to 26 mpg hwy.

Chevrolet, Car and Driver, and The Consumer Report. The new Camaro has the exact same engine as the 2007 Corvette C6, which has 6.0 liters. It does get 28mpg hwy, that is true.

As far as Fuel economy, the Camaro will have GM's cylinder deactivation, giving it more fuel economy then the Mustang. With looks, I like the Camao's looks much better. Plus, Mustang lies, if you were to dyno testthe GT500, you would find it only has 445HP. Look it up on Top Gear's videos
