Someone probably already mentioned this, but just in case - I think the worlds narrowest building is actually in Amsterdam. The reason some are so narrow is that the tax on buildings was, in part, calculated by their width, so sometimes they were build very thin but very tall, to save money! Kind of neat, huh? At least, that's what I've read. I dunno...I hope it was true lol because it's kind of neat. And to get paint off, you can use vasaline if its oil based.
