Thats crazy I've built about 4 over the past 2 years, easy to build and quite simple to fly. its very lofty good if you have the basic concept of flying down and depending upon your material you can beat it down a bit before it is time to build another.
@TheSaltysack more like motor $10 transmitter/reciver $22 battery $3 esc $10 servos $9 foam from lowes 8$ 4/8 sheet 2 2mm wood rod $2 glue probly already have it $64 and thats all new from hobbyking you can get even ceper if you can find used
@popkamama This is really easy to build. The first off cost is quite high becasue you need a transmitter which the one i bought cost £150 plus the electrics. But the electrics you can use on your next plane so you not constantly buying new things. I got the plan on "rcsuperpowers". Not sure if you can still get it there but it's worth having a look on "rcgroups". Rcgroups is a great place for info and plans :)
Hi great video, if you build this plane again I would recommend doing this, hinge tape for all controls, 2 aileron servos (I tried 1 but it was not the best), use carbon links rather than thin wire for your control rods, all available from your LHS. High c battery 30c plus makes for great 3d and you can prop it down to 7x6sf which is the rec prop for that motor. Last but not least use 4mm carbon tube 3mm is not good at all (loads of wing flex). That is how to take this plane to the next level!
@TMHmodels Thanks for you're feedback. Carbon is to expensive for me to use just as control rods as I'm 15. The battery I'm using is ample for the power system I am using. The prop i am using seems fine, You will over do it if you use full power a lot but I don't. The 3mm carbon let the wings flex a lot so I used to "kevlar bracing system" and it has toughened it up alot. Thanks
i've built a few of these, the push pull rudder looks a nice idea does it give it better tail authority then? have you try'd using u por glue for the hinges? i makes a really strong flexiable hinge and you dont get a gap witch is a plus
Awesome man. Personally I enjoy watching homemade RC planes because there is more dedication into them. Better flights, if they work ;). I hope everything goes well. It sure looks like it and that motor looks like it has tons of power. Well, happy flying! Oh and by the way I really dig your british accent xD
@p3x197 I would like to but have too many other planes I need to finish / work on next.. 2 or 3 projects where the parts are already in and just waiting for me to install. Looks like fun though, and flies nice..

Nice work dude, i live in the UK as well and its really hard to get things for rc planes as there are no hobby stores around.
US is way more easier, however really good electronics and plane. 5*

@hairlesshippy Hi, Just got back from flying it! Flys a charm. Just using 6mm depron. I bought the 1000cm x 700 cm board off ebay.
