I see CV i/o feature and liked to ask a couple of questions if u don't mind. Is this pedal works like a pitch to CV converter? Can I control an analog VCO frequency from this CV output?
What about the CV input? What can it control on the pedal?
i have a suggestion for your videos: they're perfect but could you mention if a pedal is fitting for bass or if it cuts the lows so its not suitable? would be great <3
@elefantkaputt In the case of this pedal: it says on the Pigtronix website that it works equally well with bass (or any other instrument). If this is as transparent as the philosophers tone then it doesn't cut bass at all.
Talk about tap dancing. Guess I'm too used to my basic four; DS-1, Mxr Analog Delay, Dunlop Wah, and ISP Decimator. You guys at ProGuitarShop are awesome. Maybe through in some metal or jazz covers to show off some other abilities.
some nice sounding tones, but a whole heap of totally useless effects that you wouldnt hear used anywhere soon. LIke i said, there is nice tones in this pedal, nice indeed, i think effects makers make the effects range on knobs far to wide, going into unusable territory indeed. I guess if you were on P or E or whatever those other strange unless tones would be used. lol
I think this is a unique unit. I wouldn't expect anything less from Pigtronix. However, I think the price is a bit steep. One could get a pedal that call do all this and a lot more for the price. Also, as with all multi-fx units, I worry that if I break it; I won't be breaking just one pedal but four.
Not too interested in this pedal. Seems like a complicated version of the same old thang. Like the Attack Sustain, I always just wondered why someone would decide they needed one of these. It doesn't really answer any of my tone groans.
@The1970sInfatuate - Andy has played Van Halen and slide guitar in many videos, though we usually turn the more technical Van Halen-ey bits over to Scotty. And fear not, Andy will get around to "Free Bird" eventually. We're saving that one. : )

Question. Is it possible to use just the sustainer, the compressor or the other controls (fade,swell...) but conected to other distortion pedal?
herschelvonrudiger 7 months ago
@herschelvonrudiger you can turn off the distortion and put another distortion after/before if this is what you mean....

@jspartacus actually its release not reverse. it controls how long it takes the note to die away after you release it.

get a strat or something with a volume control near the strings and play all the vol swells with your hands. far more expressive than electronics.
