@elefantkaputt In the case of this pedal: it says on the Pigtronix website that it works equally well with bass (or any other instrument). If this is as transparent as the philosophers tone then it doesn't cut bass at all.

some nice sounding tones, but a whole heap of totally useless effects that you wouldnt hear used anywhere soon. LIke i said, there is nice tones in this pedal, nice indeed, i think effects makers make the effects range on knobs far to wide, going into unusable territory indeed. I guess if you were on P or E or whatever those other strange unless tones would be used. lol

I think this is a unique unit. I wouldn't expect anything less from Pigtronix. However, I think the price is a bit steep. One could get a pedal that call do all this and a lot more for the price. Also, as with all multi-fx units, I worry that if I break it; I won't be breaking just one pedal but four.
