Nice lens, another option is the Tamron 17-50mm, which has a constant 2.8. Sharp lens, couple hundred dollars less. Not a Zeiss but still a pretty good lens. G lenses are great too for telephoto. Nice lens you got!

Tamrom... hmmm, not anywhere near to Zeiss. So a few extra bucks don't matter.

Still, the difference between this little Zeiss and my 70-200mm f/2.8 G SSM is too big, so the 16-80mm will soon be replaced by the 24-70mm f/2.8
