@monkynutzuk There r so many safety features in the sport, a malfunctioning parachute is rare and if it does occur there a # of ways to fix it, all rigs have a reserve that is packed and designed to open fast and with out an issue Another mandatory safety feature is an electronic sensor that reads air pressure to sense how fast ur falling and at what altitude and if u break a preset height at a preset speed, it pulls the reserve for u, the best thing u can do is go talk to someone at ur dropzone
@monkynutzuk New skydiver here: 33 jumps. Skydiving is not life insurance. Skydiving isn't a daredevil thing either....everyone is very careful, the equipment is hardcore for safety. Give it a try, you'll love it so much you'll wish you had only started sooner.

LOL I used to work at skydive temple and chicagoland, its funny to think of the twin otter at temple, that cessna they have there suckkkksss....
