  • What a stupid fucking pretend form of combat. You get DQ'd if you knock your opponent out? So why not just win every match by taking a dive?

Advice: Take up Ballet because it's more effective than this form of dance...

  • i dont understand why he got disqualified it looks like an extremely well timed kick caught the other guy off gaurd and owned him.

  • ainda bem q tinha equipe médica proximo ao tatame neh...rsrsrsrs...

  • Textbook!

  • that screaming bitch needs to shut up

I dont care what the rules say, your husband LOST SHUT UP

  • he wasnt getting up from that

  • if it leads to disqualification then why do it?? Dirty fighting, all too common place nowadays. No one seems to remember the 'respect' part of the dojo-kun. I hope he did get disqualified.

  • ure not allowed to kick the face with a high kick, ure only allowed up to the neck area

  • He shouldn't have been disqualified.

A kick to the face? Wow

  • guns leave a more lasting effect..

  • Because your the best around, nothing gonna ever keep you down

  • 8 people got kicked in the head and knocked out..

  • how are they at nationals they both suck balls

  • @0lykperry0 What you didn't get to see either one of them fight???

  • @chrisnealson noooooo.. but im not blind so i can see how they are dont need to write an essay on sumone to know roughly how good they are

  • Sensei: Kick him in the face a knock him the F*#! out!

    Student: But I'll be disqualified

Sensei: You have a problem with that Mr. Lawrence?

    Student: No Sensei

  • I wish he'd KO that fucking bitch as well. Why he disqualified for it anyway?

  • why whas he disqualified? lol GET UP GET UPPPP... hes out cold idiot

  • isen't it normaly Shilo and Aka ?

  • i like the super camp medic who swishes over to the fallen guy in the campest way imaginable

  • Funny thing about Karate is that when the kick is done with proper technique, you don't even need to use force.. They go down either way xD A kick with proper technique and power is bloody deadly!

  • like i said before people, karate by itself is garbage. i will take your lonely black belt and choke you with it if thats all you know. get back to mma, we are allowed to evolve. thanks.

  • @colinwar shut the fuck up dumass, mma evelved from karate and other martial arts. karate is the entire stand up part of mma. look at lyoto machida, hes one of the best in the world cuz of his stand up, which he got from learning karate. dont talk shit bout karate or imma round house kick you in the face you peice of sht.

  • @SimanMaan man, if i were you I'd be more concerned with staying in school and learning how to spell. among other things, remember: "i" before "e" except after "c". Colinwar is a "piece" of sht, not a "peice"

  • someone should headkick that stupid woman...just fuckin standin there and not helpin the guy,and the other guy doesnt know what hes doing either, they should not have fights without someone decent there...fuckin unreal

  • omg do you guys hear that girl in the audience?

  • some crazy bitch is shouting her mouth off

  • Man, Ao is DEAD!!! Great mawashi straight to the chin...damn...

And stop talking nonsense! If you don´t know ZIP about karate, don´t say stuff about it!

And YES! It hurts like hell! I KNOW IT!

    LOL!

  • It annoys me that its a fighting sport, yet a KO is a disqualification!... to me thats a perfect win??

  • @blackbloodvomitorium it's about control that's why. That being said however why they weren't wearing headgear like WTF does boggles my mind.

  • @blackbloodvomitorium shut the fuck up dumass, fightings not all bout power, its bout control too, in karate your not supposed to hit your opponent too hard. just a quick tap on the face shows that you could knock him out if you really wanted to.

  • @SimanMaan firstly you're a retard to call me a dumbass and not even spell dumbass correctly. Fair enough its about control... so just say that dickhead, instead of being a little bitch about it! In my opinion karate, like boxing etc.. all require control, but only karate you're not allowed to KO, and for me that defeats the object of a fighting sport. Different people, different opinions!

  • HEADSHOT!! PWNED!! YOU GOT KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT!!!

  • @MrEmpirical I think that you have no experience with any type of martial arts, I may be mistaken. The point of this it to show "I Could Have" sort of thing. For example a kick to the head would easily knock someone out. Also if you do a lot more contact injury is possible and it could take years to do karate again. It requires a lot more skill to be able to go full speed and yet stop a cm away from their face. Learn before you talk.

  • headkicks are illegal in WKF? that just doesnt seem like a legitimate rule. nice KO though dude, people should just be ready for whatever's coming.

and fuck mma... whoever that dumbass below is saying.

  • nice kick. I love that the ref doesn't seem to care about the unconscious body on the floor.

If you can't keep your hands up you deserve to get knocked out. I'll bet he remembered at his next tournament.

  • FALCON KICK!

  • That is what happens when aoi decides to drop his guard. Good job to aka for seeing an opening.

  • Damn screaming....

  • @CircaMay85 if you're the wife of that fallen guy will you not scream for help?

  • @42n2imn she wasnt screaming for help, she was screaming "get up" in a very shrill manner. it was quite annoying

  • Medical assistance was awesome !!!!! not ....

  • BOOM HEADSHOT!!! No wonder the guy got tanked in the dome. He is used to rules where you do not need to protect your most vital area of the body.

  • wtf? wat kinda shitty rules is this? guy does a head kick and he gets disqualifed? thats bs

  • @Pimpstrike2009 its illegal as its intentionally knocking out the opponent

  • yeah, such a shame, he even pulled backed his mawashgiri

  • @Patcherson

so how do you actually kick someone and not have a chance of knocking the person out

  • called self control

  • I never understood these karate tournaments, all the screaming, and jeering. If thats what it's about, why not just train for the UFC and make real money. This is not karate, this is an exhibition.

  • what a shitty event...no medic on duty?

  • what are you talking about no medic on duty most of those events only have a few onsite medics and they have there little table and you signal for them when something happens you can't expect to have 3 emt's waiting at every ring.

  • @mctroll89 lol alot of tourneys dont have medic on duty espically if there not big

  • gonzaga on cro cop.

  • ha!

  • It doesn't matter that the one dude got disqualified, because he's the better fighter, and probably went to sleep that night knowing that.

The Blue guy should've had his guard up, plain and simple, I hope he didn't hide behind the rules. He was the inferior fighter in this scenario and paid for his lack of skill.

It happens to everyone in martial arts eventually, this is not a PC, "everyone's friends" type of activity, despite how it's marketed and despite what the McDojos say.

  • @WarriorBoy he didnt need to hit him hard enough to knock him out to be honest

  • @nelljax: Knocking someone out with a kick isn't bad, especially if it's in a fight. The rules and the attitude towards this kind of competition are what the problem is. The guy who delivered the kick was just thinking to use his technique, it wasn't a matter of attempting to hurt him or not.

The fault lays in the guy who got knocked out for not protecting himself in a dangerous situation. He knew the risks and shouldn't have relied on the rules to keep him safe.

  • @WarriorBoy to be honest i would have done the smart thing and avoided knocking the guy out

  • @nelljax: It wasn't "stupid" or "smart" that the guy knocked him out, it's a likely consequence of his action, and a likely consequence whenever you engage in any kind of striking competition, whatever the level of intensity or what the rules are. You continually make it sound like the guy in the red struck with the intention to knock out the other guy, when really, he was just doing what anybody well-trained would do in his situation and got in trouble due to a poor rule system.

  • @WarriorBoy no i know he didnt mean to but i wud have bean more carefull

  • @nelljax: You don't engage in any kind of fighting to be "careful", so that kind of negates your point. Your carefulness would cause you to be the one knocked out.

  • @WarriorBoy id rather he knock me out and he gets punished

  • @nelljax: Again, you really don't seem to understand the mindset connected to martial arts, self-defense, or competition in general. I get that from your perspective, the man who delivered the knockout kick is in the wrong, but even when there are rules against such a thing, being injured is a calculated risk that both parties understood. Nobody should've been punished because this was accidental and a likely consequence of what they were doing. Try and look at things from another perspective.

  • @WarriorBoy well those rules are there to avoid people get badly injured and he was punished for it.

  • @nelljax: We've come full circle. You need to re-read my original comment because I don't think you understand my point or where I'm coming. I do understand where you're coming from, but again, you're taking a close-minded look at things here. Regardless of the rules, it's Blue's fault for entering a fighting competition and relying on someone else not to hurt him. That's a poor mindset for fighting.

Also, he wasn't seriously injured, you need to chill out and open your mind.

  • @WarriorBoy i understand what your saying but i still think that he should not have hit him like that , you can die from a hit like that .

  • @nelljax: No, you don't understand what I'm saying, because you can't seem to grasp the concept of calculated and accepted risks that come along with a dangerous activity. Death from a knockout is extremely rare and there are many knockouts in full contact fighting all over the world, all the time.

You need to educate yourself about martial arts, human anatomy, and learn the concept of personal responsibility and how that plays into actions you undertake. Good luck.

  • @WarriorBoy i do not care how rare it happens but it does happen , and you do not seem to grasp the simple fact that this is my personal opinion , i do understand what you are saying i just do not care .

  • @nelljax: You don't care, that's obvious. But it's a mystery why you commented to me and why you're watching this video in the first place. You have no understanding and interest in martial arts and don't have respect for any viewpoint but your own (which you said in fewer words). I am glad you said that though, since we can agree that you are close-minded, obstinate, and living in ignorance. Other people have a lot to offer and for your sake I hope you can open your eyes to that.

  • @WarriorBoy You misunderstand what i said , i don't care what YOU WHAT YOU ARE SAYING, NOT THAT I DON'T CARE ABOUT MARTIAL ARTS maybe you should look before you leap and you are judging me as a person based on MY OPINIONS on a video. And i actually think i should tell you that i am watching this video because i and finding out more about the rules of karate I just because somebody does not agree with you it does not mean that they do not understand the point you are trying to put across.

  • @nelljax: I'm judging you based on your poor communication skills, your close-mindedness, and your lack of care for what others say and respect for them, not your opinion. You never backed up your opinion, which is another thing I take exception to, and you never tried to see things from my perspective, again indicating a lack of respect. I understood what you were saying but you outrightly admitted that you didn't care about my viewpoint even though I never attacked you.

  • @WarriorBoy why can you not understand what i am saying can you just read what i am about to say . i get what you mean it is the other guys fault for being weak and you think the other guy is weak , you need to understand that i never said that you where wrong i was just stating that I PERSONALLY , KNOWING THAT I WILL BE PUNISHED FOR KNOCKING HIM OUT WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE CAREFUL L that's just me .i should probably say aswell that i am entering a competition and found this clip somewt educational

  • @nelljax: You're the one who doesn't read what others say. You admitted yourself that you don't care what I have to say. You probably don't care about the opinion of anyone who disagrees with you. You were the one who first commented to me, which I still don't understand if you didn't care. People like you hate an exchange of ideas and communication, because you encounter beliefs and perspectives that you don't like and you can't handle that. And you still believe he knocked him out on purpose?

  • @WarriorBoy there you go again '' people like me'' don't judge me you don't know me if you did maybe you would know that im the actually nothing like the person you just described so you can throw that speech in the bin. clearly you don't understand what it means to express an opinion .

  • Comment removed

  • @WarriorBoy and i never said he knocked him out on purpose. and based on me disagreeing with you , you assume i don't care about anyone's opinions who disagrees with me .1) where are you getting this from. 2) don't assume if your not sure that it is fact don't say it .

  • @nelljax: You speak as if he did knock him out on purpose, and despite explaining the nature of what happened from a different perspective numerous times, your response was the same "I just don't care about what you are saying", read your own comments, there's a record, and it's exactly the reason why I don't think you care about what others say. What other impression would I have when you literally said that yourself and get angry when someone offers something different?

  • @WarriorBoy 1) i didn't get angry 2) i don't care about what you say i was just expressing my opinion if you know what that means , yes its true in life 2 people can have different opinions 3)really really think about what i am saying.i tried to be more polite about saying it but you just weren't getting what i was saying so i just said it.4) read through my comments i never said you where wrong i was just stating what I would do

  • @nelljax: You didn't get angry? Is that why you started typing in caps lock? You're upset because you're dealing with someone who doesn't think exactly like you, and for you, that's something you don't know how to deal with. You still admit that you don't care about what I've been saying, which again proves that you are ignorant and close minded. Why did you start this discussion with me? Why did you respond to my comment? Why didn't you just make a normal comment and drag me into a debate?

  • @WarriorBoy 1)i type in cap locks to add emphasis . 2) i repeat for the second time , there is such a think as having different opinions , its like you trying to convince me to like a food that i have tried and do not like , i understand why you would enjoy the food but I PERSONALLY do not like it , maybe that will help you understand what i am saying. 3) me having a different opinion that you don't agree with doesn't make me close minded.

  • @WarriorBoy and i would like to just explain further about why i said i don't care , i was expressing my opinion and assuming and i could be wrong that you thought that because i had a different opinion that i did not understand what you where saying , when i completely understood what you where saying . i understand that saying i didn't care was a bit a an exaggeration but i thought that would be the only thing i could say to get you to understand what i was saying.

  • @nelljax: Then once again you should've left me be and left a comment on the main page instead of starting a discussion with me.

  • @WarriorBoy coulda shoulda woulda but didnt

  • @nelljax: Well if you enjoy starting arguments with people who make better points than you and know how to communicate better than that's your business. Seems odd to me but if that's what you enjoy then great. I won't be wasting my time with you again though for sure.

  • @WarriorBoy well if you enjoy judging people wrongly online i hope you carry on living your judgmental life

  • Hahaha. I love on the second knock out, you can hear these preposterously hysterical voices screaming "GET UP!! GET UP!!" Just hilarious. That guy is not getting up. Best part of the entire video.

  • lol at the lady screaming he got owned

  • ...

These are some of the reasons why i did quit shotokan to start kudo daidojuku.

    Kind regards

  • ...a schooling art rather than an authentic martial art (Gichin Funakoshi's idea created shotokan, Jigoro Kano had similar ideas for Judo Kodokan style) to educate people. They kind of lost their martial art spirit in favour of becoming martial sports (olmypics blabla)

The problem is that with kick- and thaiboxing and the evolution of contact karate (kyokushin, shidokan, kudo,etc..) the "traditionnal karate" is looking like a joke, a dance battle more than a martial art fight.

    ...

  • he should not have been DQed for that, it was controlled. ffs

  • if the kick would have been controlled, the oponent shouldn't be knocked out cold. KO is forbidden under jkf and wkf rules.

Check Junior Lefevre, Biamonti or Christophe Pinna to see how they controle their legs

    Kind regdards

  • yeah i know, i do it myself competitivley.i reckon he leans into the kick a bit

  • See? I don´t deny that it is a very nice kick, under contact rules this is nearly perfect, but under those rules it's a mistake.

    Kind regards

  • yeah, to be honest the kicker has to be in controll of the situation when it is executed. im in 14-15 year olds for british championships soon, and im not even aloud to hit the face with hands...

  • You'll see that when you go up in age categories, the body contacts becomes heavier and heavier, and sadly aslo sometimes to the head especially in some countries around (belgium mainly) where the refs are not that regarding the rules.

Like always you'll find good dojos, but you also find a lot of brawlers

    Cheers from Luxemburg

  • yeah i know, what about morroco? ive been selected for worlds there :P

  • usually clean fighters, good technick and not afraid to get some hits, not sure it's the same for their juniors and cadets but it may be. Practice a lot of tai sabaki+gyaku or taisabaki+uramawashi alongst your normal combos, they help a lot.

And grats if you've been selected for the worlds :))

  • I don't know anything about karate tournaments, but why are KO's forbidden?? its seems contradictory in a fighting competition.

  • I totally agree with you, fighting should imo be about knocking the oponent out or submitting him (depending on fighting style) not on scoring half or quarter points to win

Karate (taekwondo and savate-for technique fights- also) are more about scoring points.

Savate you have both types of fights so it's ok.

Karate and tkd (wtf style, nor itf) went toward scoring because at one time they were regarded as too dangerous if people were to hit fully all the time and wouldn't be suited as ....

  • because its not a fighting competition; its a sport competition xD and as a sport, point based rules are designed to prevent injury, and excessive contact

  • Yeah I understand, but it is a fighting sport...What about boxing then? Isn't that a sport? Its in the olympics.

  • in olympic boxing they use protective head gear, big gloves and use a different scoring system; making it safer and fit for olympics, unfortunately karate is aiming for the same with its sport version.

  • He has two hands two legs and mind of his own if he can't use them properly and block evade or protect himself then he has no buisness competing and there for has no right to accept a victory by disqualification.

  • In UFC, Boxing, Wrestling and pretty much every hand to hand sport the support team will be at your side as soon as you're knocked out to make sure you're okay..

    Here..

    Left for dead lol.

  • I wish the guy could of kicked the woman constantly yelling "GET UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

    LOL

  • So the Karate masters of the 1900s decided that they would make a version of Karate that would be more accaptable. So many of the dangerous techniques like the finger jab were changed to punches and the sport fighters would be penalized for excessive contact. However many Karate people shun the tournaments because of this fact and with the advent of MMA and fighters like Lyoto Machida many fighters are going from traditional Karate to MMA and we are letting our martial art shine OSU!

  • Koshiki fights are made for this. To prevent stupid injuries by wearing chestguard(bogu) and helmet. It's safe, secure, and those protector can accept lot of punches and kicks

  • ye but u learn by getting hurt

  • i think thats true as a shito ryu practioner ive competed in just 3 tournaments nad ive gotten bornze and one gold medal ihavent competed for a while just practice lol

  • sorry dude but shito ryu kiai are so boring !!!!

no real shots... only soft touch..

  • well it depends on skool im in shukokai

  • he got d/q cos in karate blows to the head aint supposed to be allowed

  • dis-qualification !?!?! Why, the dude hade a shit gard? Its odd? WHY??

  • can u hear that girl screeming.. "Ryan Ryan" lol somut liek that

  • LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!

  • What a crap, useless sport if you get disqualified for winning the fight. How can they call it a martial art? Should be called a pussy art.

  • its not the art its the shit judge

  • good question Karate is a martial art, the problem is the sport side of things. Karate has a long tradition of trying to make the art look "not dangerous" even though we teach techniques that are obviously brutal and effective. You see in the early 1900 when the Okinawian Karate masters decided that they wanted to popularize Karate they were met with resistance from the Japanese. The Japanese were so used to arts like Judo and Ju-Jitsu that the blunt force that Karate showed was looked down on.

  • @MrEmpirical This was probably the sport karate and not the fighting kinda karate.

  • why was this kick illegal?

  • Is this the same guy in the other 2 videos you got if so this is pretty good and he's only a red belt?

  • umm in karate its red n blue (at comps), hes a blak belt n my m8 too.

  • lol heard some anoying voices but that is the most anoying. Just shut up lol

  • ya, thats a huge DQ. With instincts like this, this guy should go into something with a little heavier contact.

  • who the fuck is that dumb hoe bag yelling like a dumb bitch on the second vid? like fuck u dum bitch, the dude is out cold, yelling is not gona help him win

  • probably a relative or the mom or something. makes sense don't it?

  • That is why you keep your hands up to prevent head trauma its a simple application

hands cover your jawline simple and it prevents this from happening...

  • yes insted of keeping them in your ass...I really don't get why they flap their hands like that

  • that girl in the background is an idiot! SHUT UP!!!

  • @bassinurfacelondon hes obviously not gonna get up after that lol

  • @bassinurfacelondon another growing thumbs up for you! =D STFU BITCH!

look up: jump kick knockout in karate

its only got a few hundred hits and is way better than this one =D

  • fucked up girl scream!!!!!!

    but cool KO

  • STAY DOWN BRAIN L MAO

  • that kick was sick, I would be happy with that DQ

  • Internet rage comments will get deleted.. you know who you are. If you have nothing interesting to add may I suggest the usual nonsensical ones such as :"pwned", "headshot", "you got knocked the fuck out" etc etc.

In fact spare us all from those as well :)

    Enjoy.

  • Hadouken!!!!!!!!! what a hit WOW...

  • heh sorry dude

  • @JoeFourMan did that guy knock out a black belt what belt color did he have ? red

  • @uso218 Both guys are black belts. The belt colors are Red and Blue, similar to the way boxing has red and blue corners.. Thx for your question.

  • @uso218

  • you can hear his woman screaming in the background.

  • the key words, up and coming. and his techniques are far from traditional karate. try and bring some full contact karate guy to the mma world. ha.

  • haha, stupid karate. or whatever this flashy kick shit is. its the garbage of what is now MMA bitches! move on.

  • Hmm and I thought one of the most illusive mma fighters of the current up-coming bunch has a karate background. Lyoto Machida. Watch his distancing compared to alot of the others, he's hard to hit, courtesy of his karate training. But yeah anyhow next time try and find something interesting to add mate :)

  • lyoto machida does his karate stuff in mma.waiting for right time to attack n it works,n really his an artist n not just kicking around.his great.but unfortunately many people cant appreciate art.n those ko's by the way r great.n with control.oss

  • @JoeFourMan Great point... colinwar probably never had a fight in his whole life, and gets on Youtube to become the ultimate keyboard warrior.

  • @JoeFourMan OSU!

  • "stupid karate. or whatever this flashy kick shit is."

This is flashy? Looks pretty straight-forward to me.

  • @colinwar

Karate is a martial art that is a component of MMA. EX (GSP And MACHIDA trained in Karate) And if you don't know how to kick or defend a kick in MMA your screwed.

MMA stands for MIXED MARTIAL ARTS you fuckin mook

  • @colinwar people like u r the ones who lose in a fight due to lack of respect and discipline, how can u take the piss out of a martial art that these UFC guys used as there background, iv always said its the fighter not the art so dont knock it.

  • @colinwar Another bloke who bought a Tapout T-shirt and is now a loud mouth hero

  • hahah BRIAN GET UP!!!! GET UP!! GET UP!!!! BRIAN!!! its over dude he aint gettin up

  • And this is why WKF and WTF are gay

  • yeah id like to see say that after you get your ass kicked by a black belt in taekwon do, karate, or any martial art, ud get killed out there

  • jajjaja, i completely agree with you slipknot...!

  • Whoever that was screaming her head off, I wish it was her that got kicked in the head.

  • I believe that the DQ was appropriate. Especially in WKF events, these techniques need to be controlled, and that kick was NOT controlled. Do not get me wrong, the kick was beautifully placed, but it wasn't controlled.

  • gf lol..and u shouldnt be gettin disqualified for well placed kicks..

  • mawashi-geri

  • I agree and it was a clean one at that...If I were the judge in this one he wouldn't of gotten a dq a warning thats it....the only call should of been yame and then the call for the emt's..

  • Some one needs to shut the fuck up in the audience. And That was a clean shot.

  • that bitch needs to stop screaming

  • yay , she need a fuck.

  • I'm more concerned about the long wait for medical attention to arrive. Why is that guy running up from the back of the gym?

  • aint that a bitch you done got kick in your mouth. lmao

  • he could've easily blocked that

  • faced!!!!!!!!!

  • If you fight that way in WKF you can go to judo tournaments also - and surprise them with your techniques.

WKF has a few hard hits - but it is nothing compared to fullcontact.

    You are cheating.

Go to Kyokushin, where every one expects this - and hits back.

    Then you are fighting.

  • Your entitled to your opinion, but you misread the situation negatively. The guy knocked out came INTO the kick anticipating a body kick, looking to block low. His forward movement contributed to the contact which otherwise would have been touch control. The kicker was disqualified so your claims of cheating are irrelevant.
