you did way to much to keep it in the same key, write it in Bb and use a key signature, keeps up the page and makes it playable to anyone trying to play it...although, high A flats arent that high
dude, you wouldn't happen to be able to send this music to me, would you? me and a couple buddies are playing this for a talent show, and it would be alot easier to have the music, rather than make it by my self.
@Midonir1 I play trombone myself along with a few other brass instruments, to get a higher range just practice your scales, and every day move up a note and soon those high notes will be average for you! Many people i see just don't put in the time to practice, and don't understand that you wont get better without practice.
@ssssssssss12 Thanks for the tip, i'll do exactly what you said and practice my all my scales including my chromatic atleast 3-4 times a day and along with some other Warm-ups my band teacher gave me :D, but yeah i think i would get better practicing my scales.
@ssssssssss12 Actually what you need to do is to practice LONG TONES. Thats right i said it LONG TONES starting on the 8th partial and working your way down. I am a Music Education major at The University of Southern Mississippi and thats what you need to do to develop your higher ranges. Scales are good but you simply run up and down them quickly. With long tones, not only do you get to develop your high range but also your pitch and tone quality.
@Midonir1 a lot of trombone players can play in that range. Most trombone players learn (eventually During college) how to play in the high range, where the music turns into Tenor Clef.
@Midonir1 This really isn't that bad. Just do what the OP said, work scales, and move up notes. Another thing to do, is extend your lower range. A teacher I had once told me that if you extend your lower range, that extending your higher range becomes much easier. It worked for me. I can stick super E's and F's without too much of a strain:) Keep playin, it's a ton of fun.
@Midonir1 yeah im only a sophomore in high school and i can play this high. like he said just practice scales and practice your ability to hit that high f sharp and hold it. you will be able to get it soon!!
