You are wrong. The Burj Khalifa (formerly Burj Dubai) is far taller than the Taipei 101. Look it up. In fact, the Burj is taller than anything else by over 700 feet. It's over 1,000 feet taller than Taipei 101. It's also almost twice the height of the USA's tallest building (Chicago's Willis Tower -- formerly Sears Tower).
