Not sure it's a chinchilla. Seen some pics and the tail doesn't match. I'm not an animal expert, though so I might be wrong. I still feel sad for the little guy. *Sniffles.*
@MsPrettyInPink350 It really wasn't hit by a car. Just a little dark comedy to ease the pain of seeing a rat after ingesting poison and making it's way to the house. I love animals- but mouth to mouth on a rat is impossible while standing on a chair six feet away.
@evanskye chinchillas have a very fine fur and a big bushy tail. that was definitely a fat rat. poor guy (even though i had a guilty LOL watching this haha). at least it was taken out of its misery.
