@IcedEarth99 I'm getting pissed off with this Ektomorf - Cavalera bollocks. Some ppl just can't accept that many things sound like many other things in the world, especially music. After all, there are only 7 notes to start with. There is a difference between plagiarism, copying, influences and genres. EVEN IF Ektomorf does sound like some of the Cavalera stuff, that does not invalidate their music. All F1 cars look exactly the same, but rarely do you hear ppl complaining about plagiarism there.

Same here - these musicians create the type of music that they believe best expresses them and that they like best, and if that resembles someone else's music - tought shit. There's a difference between this and specifically playing a certain type of music in order to get a share of the popularity enjoyed by other bands.

Of Sepultura maybe. But they were founded in 94, While Soulfly exist since 97. Dunno if Ektomorf changed their style into something more soulflylike after Max popped up with his new baby. Could be, I'm not that much into both bands. Anyways... these guys kick ass live :]
I've seen this band the first time in 2002 at a small local festival and there were around 10 fans. It was very familiar. Now look at the crowd today! And they deserved everyone of them.
Even tattos on the neck is same as Cavalera :))
