The music is very very good. Too bad i like the singer not so much. Personally i like fridens vocals on In Flames' older stuff the most. Especially the vocals on colony.

That's not always true. And then it depends on if that band is near/at its peak or not, this applies to any musical outfit, there's a moment of development, (near) peak, and then it will go down, not always though, some bands keep their momentum. (for example Death in my book)

@Hrimthur666 I agree with op99pro about Dark Tranquillity being awesome in every single epoch they have composed music. Maybe except We Are the Void, which for some was a little bit of a let down. But still I like such album... Concerning In Flames: yes, you're right in there. In Flames for me lasted from 1993 to 2000. But it's only a matter of taste. Some like the new stuff, some don't.

I'll always love the early melodic death metal scene, regardless. Greetings.
